Beyoncé Trademarks 'Echoville' For Apparel, Jewelry, and More

News that Beyoncé’s Ivy Park fashion brand and Adidas would part ways shocked audiences in March, reportedly stemming from creative disagreements over the direction of the label. As trademark attorney Josh Gerben noted, Beyoncé-linked BGK Trademark Holdings LLC submitted eight applications to the USPTO, all dated June 22, for a single word: Echoville. The description reads: “The mark consists of standard characters, without claim to any particular font style, size, or color.” According to documents, the trademark includes everything from toys to bedding.

Boardroom’s Sam Dunn breaks down all the items included in the Echoville trademark.
