The Washington Post announced a sweeping round of layoffs Wednesday, eliminating about 30% of its workforce, including more than 300 journalists across the sports, local, and international divisions, though some of its sports reporters will shift to features coverage. Per NBC News, the daily podcast Post Reports will also be discontinued. The Washington Post Guild condemned the cuts, saying that more than 400 roles have already been eliminated over the last three years, undermining the outletโ€™s credibility and future.

Louis Vuitton is celebrating the 130th anniversary of its Monogram canvas with a new campaign starring Zendaya, with visuals of the Euphoria star posing with the iconic Speedy handbag. Created in 1930 and produced in Monogram canvas since 1959, the Speedy has evolved through major collaborations, beginning with Marc Jacobsโ€™ graffiti-era partnership with Stephen Sprouse. The celebration will continue through 2026 with special-edition collections, pop-ups, and global activations tied to the motifโ€™s origins.

Megan Thee Stallion is adding to her acting rรฉsumรฉ with a guest-starring role on NBCโ€™s The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. She plays Denise, a recently divorced mother who strikes up a flirtation with Daniel Radcliffeโ€™s character, Arthur Tobin, in an episode titled โ€œYou May Hug Your Hero.โ€ The comedy stars Tracy Morgan as a disgraced former football player trying to rehab his image, reuniting him with 30 Rock collaborators Robert Carlock and Tina Fey. After drawing 6.1 million viewers across NBC and Peacock for its January premiere, the series returns Feb. 23, with new episodes airing weekly starting March 2.

Ulta Beauty has launched the Ulta Beauty Roster, a new collective of six women athletes across various sports, coinciding with National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The roster includes Anna Leigh Walters, Dearica Hamby, Emma Navarro, Madisen Skinner, Midge Purce, and Vanita Krouch, who will collaborate on social content and live activations. As part of the initiative, Ulta is introducing the Roster for Change grant program to support local sports organizations with funding for equipment, fees, and facility upgrades, with applications opening in late February at ubroster.com. The pro athletes will also provide guidance to local teams through the program.

During an appearance on Sherri, Mรฝa confirmed her tenth studio album, Retrospect, is on the way, marking her first full-length release since 2018โ€™s T.K.O. (The Knock Out). Due this spring via Planet 9 in partnership with Virgin Music, the album features collaborations with 21 Savage and Joyner Lucas and draws on โ€™70s and โ€™80s funk and soul while staying rooted in modern R&B. Work on the project began as early as 2016. The lead single, โ€œASAP,โ€ co-produced with LaMar โ€œMyGuyMarsโ€ Edwards, previews the albumโ€™s smooth, throwback-meets-current sound.

Angel McCoughtryโ€™s McCoughtry Entertainment is entering the animation space through a new partnership with Digital Epic Studio, aiming to develop animated film, TV, digital, and branded content in both short and long formats. Ahmad Hamass, founder and creative director of Digital Epic Studio, will oversee production while McCoughtryโ€™s company leads creative development. The joint slate includes a feature project, animated shorts, and digital-first formats. The move follows McCoughtryโ€™s expanding film career, which includes her upcoming feature directorial debut Apt 6B and a short film launching on Amazon this month.

Ari Lennox is embarking on a North American tour in support of her third album, Vacancy, visiting over 30 cities including Seattle, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, and Oakland. The tour kicks off April 12, marking her first outing since 2023โ€™s Age/Sex/Location tour. Vacancy, produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, was released last month. A24 is developing a new iteration of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, starting with a TV series from JT Mollner, following its September acquisition of the franchiseโ€™s TV and film rights in an auction led by Verve. The new projectโ€™s distribution is still unclear, and itโ€™s not yet packaged as a movie, despite previous Netflix rumors. The original 1974 film, made for $140,000 and distributed by Bryanston Distributing Company, grossed $31 million, though the filmmakers saw little profit. New Line Cinema later acquired the franchise in 1983, producing nine films that earned over $252 million worldwide, alongside comics, novels, and video games.

Former One Direction member Zayn confirmed Wednesday his fifth studio album, Konnakol, arrives on April 17 via Mercury Records/Island Records U.K. The lead single, “Die for Me,” will be released on Friday. The album will be his first since 2024โ€™s Room Under the Stairs, which charted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart. The title Konnakol references a vocal percussion style in South Indian Carnatic music, and the album artwork features a striking image of Zaynโ€™s face morphed with a snow leopard, first teased during his Las Vegas residency.

Naturalizer has unveiled the first drop from its Style-letics collection with celeb stylist June Ambrose, the brandโ€™s global ambassador and creative director, featuring avant-garde silhouettes designed for the โ€œsport of daily life.โ€ The initial release includes two standout styles, Nova-Shaft and Zyra, with Zyra offered in multiple colorways and runner-inspired materials. The full Style-letics capsule, arriving in March, will feature five styles total โ€“ two sneakers and three hybrid dress shoes โ€“ merging athletic codes with premium leathers and performance materials. The first June Ambrose x Naturalizer drop is now available exclusively on Naturalizer.com and priced between $295 and $350, with wider retail rollout to Macyโ€™s and Nordstrom later in March.
