After wearing the brand at this year’s Met Gala, Wimbledon, and on other occasions, it’s no shock that Ayo Edebiri is one of the stars of Loewe’s spring 2025 pre-collection campaign, which was unveiled on Wednesday. Shot by Juergen Teller, Edebiri is seen in the campaign wearing a black floor-length dress and the Spanish brand’s “Shaggy Rug Stilettos” in bright orange. The Bear star is also clutching Loewe’s Medium Squeeze Bag in the Oak colorway. Other small screen favorites Loewe tapped for this campaign include Baby Reindeer creator and star Richard Gadd and Ambika Mod, star of Netflix’s One Day.

American Express and Formula 1 announced a new multi-year global sponsorship Wednesday that will strengthen the former’s presence in the auto racing space. The expanded collab means the financial services firm will increase its participation at F1 races, from five to 20 competitions beginning in 2025, and curate unique activations for its cardmembers across all levels. It will also remain an official partner of F1 Academy, showcasing its support for the all-women racing series on and off the track.

The Chicago Red Stars are officially entering a new era, and moving forward, they will be known as Chicago Stars FC. Boeing recently reported third-quarter losses topping $6 billion as union voting begins Wednesday on a deal that could end a weeks-long strike that has seriously affected the aviation company. Now in its sixth week, 33,000 staffers have gone on strike, effectively suspending production across Boeing’s factories in the Pacific Northwest. On top of hoping to reach an agreement that includes a 35% pay raise over four years, employees are also looking for a $7,000 ratification reward and improvements to retirement plans.

The TV networks that defined childhood are on the brink of losing their spark. Ratings for Nickelodeon have tumbled 86% from 2016 to 2023, while the Disney Channel experienced a 90% drop in the same timeframe, according to Nielsen data. Viewers are instead turning their attention to YouTube, with audiences aged 2-17 representing nearly 30% of the video platform’s viewership in July. While execs rush to reinvigorate the linear TV landscape, it’s clear that kids today consume content in a much different way than their elders.
