The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and their road to a second title are the subjects of a new documentary by Roku. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Super Bowl Champions: The 2024 Philadelphia Eagles will drop this Friday and features behind-the-scenes footage with Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley, and other key moments during the teamโ€™s memorable season.ย 

The first-ever Riyadh Comedy Festival is heading to Saudi Arabiaโ€™s capital city this fall, with over 50 comedians set to attend the event running from Sept. 26 through Oct. 9. Kevin Hart headlines the group and is confirmed to perform, as well as British Comedy Award winner and TV host Jimmy Carr, Bill Burr, Gabriel โ€˜Fluffyโ€™ Iglesias, and Jo Koy, screenwriter Zarna Garg, and actress and podcaster Whitney Cummings. Organizers teased that additional acts will be announced soon. 

Both tech giants beat expectations in their quarterly reports on Wednesday. Alphabet, the parent company of Google, reported that its revenue grew 14% year-over-year, exceeding the 10.9% Wall Street projection, but that it also plans to increase spending throughout the remainder of the year. Meanwhile, IBM, whose stock is up 28% year-to-date, recorded an 8% year-over-year revenue increase.ย 

The inaugural Afro+ Fest is coming to the nationโ€™s capital next month, and two of the best in hip-hop and Afrobeats are headlining the day-long function in Gunna and Asake. Scheduled for Aug. 31 at RFK Festival Grounds, attendees will also hear from Shenseea, Uncle Waffles, and Foggie Raw, among others. The festival will also feature immersive art installations, global cuisine stands, fashion activations, and a marketplace of Blackโ€‘owned brands and local creators.

Ben Stiller and Apple Original Films are coming together to develop a doc centered around the A-listerโ€™s late parents, Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller. Titled Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost, the Deadline exclusive explains that audiences will delve into the coupleโ€™s impact in both pop culture and as parents, with Stiller and his surviving family opening up about Anne and Jerryโ€™s influence on their upbringing. The feature will open in select theaters on Oct. 17 and begin streaming on Apple TV+ a week later.

Universal Music Group confirmed it has submitted paperwork for a public offering in the United States. Although the company did not specify how many shares it will offer or at what price, the firm behind megastars like Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar claimed it wonโ€™t be receiving any proceeds from share sales from its shareholders. 

Funnyman Ike Barinholtz is the lead candidate to portray Elon Musk in Luca Guadagninoโ€™s upcoming film Artificial, a dramedy centered on the 2023 OpenAI crisis. The Mad TV alumโ€™s most recent work is in the breakout Apple TV+ seriesย The Studio, which picked up an impressive 23 Emmy nominations โ€” the most ever for a freshman comedy. Produced by Amazon/MGM, Simon Richโ€™s screenplay characterizes Musk as an early OpenAI investor turned bitter rival.

Legendary composer Hans Zimmer will score Season 3 of HBOโ€™s Euphoria, working alongside returning composer Labrinth, who scored the first two seasons of the Emmy-winning series. Zimmer’s past scoring work includes Interstellar, The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, and more. Currently in production and expected to arrive sometime next year, new episodes see the showโ€™s high school-age characters navigate the realities of adulthood.

In celebration of his surprise drop DONโ€™T TAP THE GLASS, Tyler, the Creator unveiled a DONโ€™T TAP THE GLASS x Golf Wang capsule on Wednesday that includes clothing, accessories, and home goods. Even if you couldnโ€™t snag tickets to the surprise show tonight at Brooklynโ€™s Under the K Bridge Park, the brandโ€™s brick-and-mortar locations in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as at the official Golf Wang webstore, have products currently available for purchase.ย 

Hulu and 20th Television are working with Family Guy veterans Evan Waite and Alec Sulkin on a new workplace comedy called Please See HR. No official plot has been revealed, but the sitcom follows staffers in the Human Resources department of healthcare provider Miser Perpetuale.ย In addition to both being longtime executive producers on Family Guy, Waite served as a writer on the show for the last five years, while Sulkin was frequently used as a voice actor.
