After a brief hiatus, Spotify‘s All-RapCaviar is bringing back its live event, making its return at NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles on Friday night, Boardroom has exclusively learned. Hosted by Cade Cunningham and headlined by Don Toliver, the experience will bring together RapCaviarโ€™s biggest fans for an immersive celebration of music and basketball culture. Attendees can expect an interactive basketball court, a RapCaviar Hall of Fame tribute, custom jerseys, and more. And for the first time ever, the event will also feature a presenting brand sponsor, with NBC Peacock helping power the festivities.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced 21 finalists for its Class of 2026, featuring a mix of NBA and WNBA stars, coaches, and contributors. First-time nominees include Blake Griffin, Candace Parker, Elena Delle Donne, Mike D’Antoni, and Kelvin Sampson, while Doc Rivers and Amar’e Stoudemire are among those receiving a second look. The 1996 U.S. womenโ€™s national team is also a finalist, recognized for its Olympic dominance and role in launching the WNBA. The 24-member Honors Committee will decide the inductees, with the new class announced April 4 during Final Four weekend.

Cardi B is launching her first beauty brand, Grow-Good Beauty, entering the hair care space this spring. This is part of her exclusive joint venture with Revolve Group, expanding into apparel and beauty and marking a new chapter beyond past collaborations with Fashion Nova, Reebok, and NYX Professional Makeup. In addition to launching Whipshots, Cardi has also fronted major campaigns for SKIMS, Marc Jacobs, and Balenciaga.

MLS unveiled its year-round marketing strategy Thursday, designed to further grow soccerโ€™s audience across North America during this World Cup year. The plan aligns national campaigns, global storytelling, local club activation, and a World Cup-aligned season structure to keep MLS both visible and culturally relevant. It launches with โ€œMLS Is Back,โ€ which focuses on energy, entertainment, and fan experiences across digital platforms and matchdays. A key feature is โ€œThe Call,โ€ starring Magic Johnson and MLS players Son Heung-Min, Matt Freese, Diego Luna, and Joseph Paintsil, alongside Belgian creator Cรฉline Dept, in a social-first push to connect fans to the excitement of the league.

Essence has unveiled the honorees for its 19th annual Black Women in Hollywood ceremony, celebrating a dynamic group of creative forces: Chase Infiniti, Kerry Washington, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, and Zinzi Coogler. Infiniti is being recognized for her breakout role in One Battle After Another, while Washington is recognized for her expansive career as an actor, producer, and director. Richardson Jackson is celebrated for her decades of stage and screen work and civic engagement, and Coogler for producing Sinners and founding Proximity Media. The ceremony, which highlights Black women reshaping Hollywood through creative control and ownership, will take place on March 12 in Los Angeles.

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) reported record growth in 2025, generating $1.94 billion in revenue and distributing $1.759 billion in royalties to its members. Domestic performances contributed $1.47 billion, driven by streaming, radio, and licensing, while international profits grew to $474 million, a 8.2% jump. ASCAP also added 80,000 new members, bringing its total to over 1.1 million creators. Overall, distributions from global public performances rose 10.6% compared to 2024.

Jalen Rose is teaming up with Pistons owner Tom Gores to launch a Detroit-based multimedia production company, Same Page Entertainment. The new venture will tackle both scripted and unscripted film and television projects, including a documentary on the McDonald’s All-American Game and a TV drama titled South West High. The company will also work on podcasts, including Rose’s new audio and video show, which will be produced in Same Pageโ€™s new content studio in downtown Detroit. New works are expected to start dropping early this year.

Trafalgar Releasing is bringing BTSโ€™s world tour Arirang to cinemas worldwide, with live concert broadcasts on April 11 from Goyang, South Korea, and April 18 from Tokyo. The events mark BTSโ€™s first tour since Permission to Dance on Stage (2021-2022) and coincide with the release of their fifth studio album, Arirang, on March 20. Trafalgar, which previously distributed Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, operates in over 15,000 cinemas across 132 countries.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed a sequel to F1, following the filmโ€™s global box office success last year. Speaking at the Academy Awards luncheon, Bruckheimer did not confirm a timeline or whether Brad Pitt will return, noting Pitt would be involved in casting decisions. The original film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and co-starring Damson Idris, grossed over $630 million worldwide and picked up four Oscar nominations, including Best Picture. 

After nearly two decades on the sidelines, Hilary Duff is set to hit the road again, announcing The Lucky Me global tour on Thursday. The news comes ahead of the release of her sixth studio album, Luck… Or Something, dropping on Feb. 20, and just before she’s about to begin a sold-out, six-night run in Las Vegas on Friday. Duff’s global trek begins on June 22 and will include stops in seven countries, including stops at stateside venues such as Madison Square Garden and Kia Forum.
