The best-selling shapewear brand begins a multiyear pact with the Association, the WNBA, and USA Basketball as their official underwear partner.
Your eyes weren’t deceiving you if you noticed the SKIMS logo on NBA courts during the opening week of the 2023-24 season. On Monday, Kim Kardashian‘s billion-dollar shapewear and apparel line announced a multiyear partnership with the league, officially making SKIMS the official underwear partner of the NBA, the WNBA, and USA Basketball.

Together, SKIMS, the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball will capitalize on the sport’s extensive appeal to garner excitement and leverage the power of basketball to execute numerous activations. Fans can expect a SKIMS footprint at marquee events like NBA All-Star, the NBA In-Season Tournament, WNBA All-Star presented by US Bank, AT&T WNBA Live, and the USA Basketball Showcase, which features both USA men’s and women’s national team exhibition games ahead of major international competitions.
“I am incredibly proud of SKIMS‘ partnership with the NBA, as it is a reflection of SKIMS growing influence on culture,” said Kardashian, the company’s Co-founder and Creative Director. “Together, SKIMS and the NBA will connect people of all backgrounds through fashion, sport, and talent, and I look forward to seeing the partnership thrive.”
Added SKIMS Co-Founder & CEO Jens Grede: “The NBA’s modern approach and significant impact on pop culture, entertainment, and fashion is unparalleled in sports. Our partnership marks a remarkable opportunity for SKIMS and the NBA to work together on what it means to engage the next generation of consumers and fans through basketball.”
SKIMS Mens launched on Oct. 26, and the brand celebrated the debut of a lineup of comfortable everyday essentials by naming some of the most recognizable athletes as faces of the “Every Body is Wearing SKIMS” campaign. Joining soccer superstar Neymar and San Francisco 49ers All-Pro Nick Bosa as the brand’s official athlete endorsers was All-NBA point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In addition to seeing the SKIMS emblem on-court this season, hoop fans will also see SKIMS signage across the league’s official social and digital platforms.
