In the debut episode of Network with Rich Kleiman, a new multi-platform video series co-produced by Yahoo Sports and Boardroom, Kleiman sits down with media mogul and NFL legend Michael Strahan.
Michael Strahan was once one of the most feared pass-rushers in the NFL — a legacy cemented by his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014. A Super Bowl champion, seven-time Pro Bowl selection, and the NFL’s single-season sack record holder, Strahan played the game with a ferocity reserved for the all-time greats.
That same drive has fueled his post-football success across media, business, and entertainment. Whether he’s a regular presence on Good Morning America, breaking down game-day matchups on Fox NFL Sunday, or hosting the latest version of The $100,000 Pyramid, Strahan’s face is a fixture on screens nationwide. Beyond television, he’s built a formidable business portfolio, founding SMAC Entertainment and partnering with numerous major brands over the years.
In the debut episode of Network with Rich Kleiman — a new video series co-produced by Yahoo Sports and Boardroom — Strahan sits down with Kleiman for an in-depth conversation exploring his business ventures, personal passions, and life after the NFL. The two dive into topics like expectations for Strahan’s New York Giants this season, picks for the GOAT, NFL ownership, and much more.
“I’d love to be on the ownership side,” Strahan told Kleiman about returning to the game. “For me, though, it’s like owning, but I’m not there to say, ‘you should draft that guy and you should do this.’ I want to be in an ownership position where I just advise what you need. One of the things I felt that I was good at with the Giants was leadership — understanding guys, understanding motivation, understanding pushing yourself to be great, the mentality that it takes. And I would love to be on the ownership side of it, but in a space where I feel like I can contribute most would be in those ways.”
