Aaron Rodgers Is the King of New York

After months of speculation, Aaron Rodgers is New York-bound. The four-time MVP is headed to the New York Jets, ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report. To orchestrate the move, the two teams swapped first-round picks, with the Jets getting the 15th pick and the Packers bumping up to 13. Additionally, the Packers will get a second and sixth-round pick this year and a conditional second-round pick in the 2024 draft. However, if Rodgers plays 65% of the season’s snaps, this will improve to a first-round draft pick. According to ESPN, the QB’s $54.9 million guaranteed in 2023 will make him New York’s highest-paid athlete.

Boardroom’s Shlomo Sprung has all the details on the much-anticipated trade.
