Lil Wayne is taking his talents from the recording booth to the television studio, joining the NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning show. The long-time Packers fan will assume his spot on the desk beginning this Sunday as a regular weekly guest. The veteran rapper will appear alongside co-hosts Rich EisenKurt WarnerSteve Mariucci, and Gerald McCoy. The news was originally shared on Sunday during halftime of the New York Giants game against the Carolina Panthers in Munich and confirmed by the league on Monday.

Boston Celtics superfan Bill Simmons is teaming back up with his 30 for 30 co-creator Connor Schell for a new docuseries centered on the Boston Celtics for Max. According to a release, the new project will chronicle “the history, cultural impact, and extraordinary tale of the NBA’s winningest and most storied franchise.” Called Celtics City, viewers can expect never-before-seen archival footage and more than 80 interviews of current and past Boston Celtics legends like Bob CousyLarry BirdJayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown. Emmy winner Lauren Stowell is directing the series.

Yale University students will have a chance to enroll in a course entirely dedicated to Beyoncé, the Yale Daily News reported. The course, “Beyoncé Makes History: Black Radical Tradition History, Culture, Theory & Politics through Music,” will feature a curriculum that will focus on the rise of Queen Bey’s “sonic, fashion and visual media” throughout her career and works to “trace the relationship between Beyonce’s artistic genius and Black intellectual practice.” Writer and Black studies scholar Daphne Brooks will teach the offering, following a blueprint from a past seminar she taught at Princeton University called “Black Women in Popular Music Culture.”

Recent Boardroom Cover Story star JuJu Watkins will be the subject of a new docuseries on the USC Trojans guard’s life on and off the court. Not only will Watkins star in the show, but the sophomore will also serve as an executive producer, making her the first collegiate women’s basketball player to secure the line item on her resumé. On the Rise: JuJu Watkins will air its first two episodes on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. on NBC, while viewers can catch episodes three through six exclusively on Peacock.

Capitalizing on the NFL’s growing popularity outside the U.S., the league is reportedly considering hosting eight games overseas in the 2025-26 season. Commissioner Roger Goodell said on the NFL Network on Sunday that he’s eyeing Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, England, and Ireland as potential host nations. The league did confirm in February the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid will host the Spain-based showdown next season, but teams making the trek have not been announced at this time. 

Ahead of Mike Tyson’s Netflix showdown versus Jake Paul on Friday, Kith and Tyson have teamed up on a limited edition vintage tee. The long-running “Now Kith” meme depicts young Tyson gently pressing two pigeons together as if they’re kissing, with a playful pun leveraging his lisp that turns “kiss” into “kith.” The Mike Tyson x Kith collaboration arrives in two colorways and is available to purchase at kith.com.

Netflix has ordered a second season of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the streaming platform confirmed Monday. Much like season one, season two will follow members of the cheer squad through auditions, their vigorous training schedule, and game day routines during the 2024-25 season. Per Variety, season one recorded 2.3 million views in its first four days, maintained a spot on the list of top 10 U.S. TV programs for five consecutive weeks, and reached the top 10 in 27 countries.

Venom: The Last Dance picked up an additional $16.2 million from 3,905 North American theaters over the weekend, taking over the top spot at the box office for the third consecutive week. That brings its domestic total to $114.8 million. Overseas, the film doubled its performance with $33 million earned for a global total of $394.2 million. The race for second place is much tighter, with Best Christmas Pageant Ever opening with an estimated $11.1 million from 3,020 theaters and the psychological horror flick Heretic reportedly earning an estimated $11 million from 3,221 cinemas.
