Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is getting the documentary treatment. Culture of Winning: Polynesian Football Pride will chronicle the play caller’s roots Variety exclusively reports. Additionally, it will showcase other NFL players with similar backgrounds – including Penei Sewell, Puka Nacua, Jonah Savaiinaea, and Chris Henry Jr. –  and the impact their sports highlights have back in their communities. The doc is set to premiere this weekend on Fox Sports. 

A TLC musical is coming to our nation’s capital in 2026. CrazySexyCool – The Musical will chronicle the story of the iconic group featuring Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and their pursuit of making music history. Bill Diggins’ Diggit Theatrical Group is producing the show with Kwame Kwei-Armah (One Love: The Bob Marley Musical) responsible for writing and directing. Meanwhile, Chloe O. Davis is tasked with choreographing some of the girl group’s chart-topping hits that will be featured in the musical, like “Waterfalls,” “Creep,” “Unpretty,” and “No Scrubs.”

LVMH has been dethroned as the most valuable luxury brand in the world after being overtaken by its rival. Hermès International SCA’s valuation nearly hit €249 billion ($281 billion) at the close of trading in Paris on Tuesday, topping the €244 billion ($275 billion) reached by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. LVMH’s stock fell nearly 8% on Tuesday after the company reported disappointing first-quarter results on Monday. Hermès is expected to share its quarterly sales on Thursday.

The organizers of the 2025 ESSENCE Festival of Culture have unveiled the star-studded lineup scheduled to take the stage July 4-6 in New Orleans. The first lot of performers includes GloRillaSummer WalkerMuni Long, MaxwellNasBoyz II Men, and New Orleans native Master P. Additionally, Jermaine Dupri will lead a tribute commemorating the legacy of the late Quincy Jones.

Jesse Eisenberg is set to direct another film for A24, and the cast is a who’s who of Hollywood. Appearing in the follow-up to his Oscar-winning flick A Real Pain will be Halle Bailey, Havana Rose Liu, and Bernadette Peters, joining previously confirmed cast members Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti. Featuring music and lyrics written by Eisenberg, the untitled film follows a shy woman who is unexpectedly cast in a local production of an original musical.

Rory McIlroy captured his long-awaited Masters title to complete his career grand slam in front of an average of 12.7 million viewers, up 33% from last year, CBS Sports shared Tuesday. This makes it not only the most-watched final round of the Masters since 2018 but also the most-watched golf broadcast on any network in that time. Viewership peaked at 19.5 million toward the end when McIlroy captured the win in a playoff hole versus Justin Rose.

In exciting news for fliers on Tuesday, American Airlines confirmed it will be providing complimentary Wi-Fi to 90% of its fleet in 2026. The company is teaming up with fellow Texas-based company and telecommunications firm AT&T to offer the feature, which will be available to the airline’s loyalty members on over 2 million flights. The news follows similar moves made by competitors such as JetBlue, Delta, and United.

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is set to publish three books, the first arriving on shelves Sept. 9. SHOT READY will featured over 100 images, a large number of which will appear in this volume for the first time, illustrating the “powerful distillation of Curry’s transformative philosophy of success–centered on intentional preparation, constant improvement, creativity, connection, mindfulness, and joy.”

The Last of Us marked an impressive return to HBO with 5.3 million U.S. cross-platform viewers for its Season 2 premiere, a roughly 13% increase from the Season 1 opener. Additionally, viewership of Season 1 surged 150% in the week leading up to the second season debut. HBO had already renewed the post-apocalyptic drama for a third season prior to Sunday’s episode.

The Global Citizen NOW Summit is calling on a bunch of heavy hitters to speak during the one-day event to end world poverty on April 30. Those confirmed to appear at Spring Studios include Hugh Jackman, Wyclef Jean, Rachel Brosnahan, Liza Koshy, Bill Nye, Ashlyn Harris, and James Blake. They’ll be joined by other leaders in the government, policy, advocacy, private sector, media, entertainment, and philanthropy space.
