NBA owners will meet on March 25 to discuss potential expansion, with Las Vegas and Seattle widely viewed as the leading candidates for new franchises. The Board of Governors is expected to vote on whether to formally study those markets. Catarina Macario has reportedly signed a record-breaking deal with the NWSLโ€™s San Diego Wave, set to earn nearly $8 million in guaranteed money over five seasons through 2030. Cloud provider Nebius is partnering with Meta on a massive five-year AI infrastructure deal that could reach up to $27 billion. Nebius will provide $12 billion in dedicated capacity, while Meta may purchase up to $15 billion in additional compute. The Netherlands-based company has quickly emerged as a leading AI cloud player, agreeing to this deal less than a week after striking a $2 billion pact with Nvidia.

Apple unveiled the AirPods Max 2 on Monday in a somewhat surprise announcement, powered by the H2 chip for more effective noise cancellation and cleaner audio. The over-ear headphones feature Adaptive Audio, Voice Isolation, Live Translation, studio-quality recording, and low-latency gaming. The Max 2, priced at the same $549 as the first version, will be available to order on March 25 in five colors, with shipments starting in early April.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have partnered with Uniqlo as Dodger Stadiumโ€™s official field presenting sponsor, per The Athletic, marking the first field naming deal in the ballparkโ€™s 64-year history. While the stadium name remains unchanged, the playing surface will be branded Uniqlo Field, with signage, marketing, and promotional rights throughout the park. An official announcement is expected ahead of Opening Day on March 26.

U.S. Soccer and Nike revealed the USMNT kits for the upcoming FIFA World Cup on Monday. The collection includes stars-and-stripes jerseys, plus a โ€œHollywood Goalkeeperโ€ kit, all featuring Nikeโ€™s AERO-FIT technology. Player input helped shape the design, with bespoke fonts and an โ€œInner Prideโ€ collar detail. Kits will debut this month as the U.S. builds toward hosting the World Cup, with a fan-focused launch campaign underway.

New Balance has signed a long-term partnership with the New England Patriots to become the teamโ€™s official and exclusive athletic footwear and apparel provider, as well as a sponsor of Gillette Stadium. The deal includes naming rights to the new 160,000-square-foot New Balance Athletics Center and surrounding practice fields in Foxborough. New Balance will also sponsor the team’s training camp and support youth football initiatives across New England.

Nate Diaz will return to the Octagon on May 16 to face Mike Perry at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles as part of Netflixโ€™s inaugural live MMA fight card. Promoted by Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions, the event is headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano and will also feature Francis Ngannou vs. Philippe Lins on a stacked global fight card.

Director John Krasinski has announced new cast members for A Quiet Place: Part III, adding Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian alongside returning stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe. The third installment in the blockbuster horror franchise begins production this spring in New York and is set for theatrical release on July 30, 2027.
