J. Cole is expanding The Fall-Off into a 144-page collector’s magazine celebrating hip-hop’s past, present and future. The publication features interviews, essays, and original artwork, including pieces on Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, RZA, GloRilla, and J.I.D, bringing together more than 60 contributors to honor the culture and its evolution. The magazine is an extension of Cole’s highly anticipated project, which he dropped earlier this year and became his seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

Michael Jordan is extending his 35-year partnership with Upper Deck, becoming the brand’s first-ever “legacy partner.” The expanded deal keeps Upper Deck as the exclusive producer of Jordan-authenticated autographed collectibles while giving him a greater role in future product creation. To celebrate, Upper Deck will release 23 signed 1986-87 Fleer rookie packs and auction a one-of-one autographed Fleer box.

The 2026 Emmy nominations delivered wins, surprises, and plenty of snubs. HBO Max led all platforms with 122 nominations, powered by Hacks and The Pitt, while Netflix followed with 111. Widow’s Bay broke out with 19 nods, while Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift earned recognition for their Super Bowl halftime show and Eras Tour film. Justin Bieber has joined the star-studded lineup for the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final halftime show, co-headlining alongside Madonna, BTS, and Shakira on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium. Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, the 11-minute performance will also feature Burna Boy and other special guests. The show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to expand access to education and youth football worldwide.

Warner Bros. and Legendary unveiled the latest trailer for Dune: Part Three, giving fans the biggest look yet at Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated sci-fi finale. Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides alongside Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, and new addition Robert Pattinson. Inspired by Dune Messiah, the third installment explores the fallout of Paul’s rule and promises a darker, more action-driven conclusion when it hits theaters Dec. 18.

Apple is deepening its partnership with Broadcom through a $30 billion-plus chipmaking agreement, its largest U.S. manufacturing commitment to date. The deal will produce more than 15 billion American-made chips and includes a $1.5 billion expansion of Broadcom’s Fort Collins, Colorado, facility. The move strengthens Apple’s domestic supply chain as the company continues investing in U.S.-based silicon production and custom chips for future devices.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup delivered a historic ratings milestone as the USABelgium match became the most-watched soccer broadcast in U.S. history. The game drew 42 million total viewers, including 30 million on Fox platforms and 12 million on Telemundo and Peacock. Despite the USMNT’s 4-1 loss and elimination, the tournament continues to drive record interest across American audiences.

JPMorganChase is entering the NBA jersey patch space through a new multi-year partnership with the Dallas Mavericks. The deal marks Chase’s first NBA jersey sponsorship and will bring the brand onto team uniforms while creating exclusive fan experiences, perks and arena activations. Beyond basketball, the partnership will focus on Chase’s continued investment in North Texas, including supporting small businesses and expanding economic opportunities across the region.

Michael Strahan is expanding his podcast portfolio with a new show under his SMAC Entertainment banner. Strahan and co-founder Constance Schwartz-Morini will interview athletes, executives, and cultural leaders as part of The Intersection, a new podcast network launched with AMP Media. The venture builds on SMAC’s storytelling footprint across sports, entertainment, and business.

KAWS is bringing his signature style to baseball with a new MLB collaboration featuring reimagined New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers logos. The KAWS x MLB Collection includes apparel, jerseys, hats, sporting goods, and limited-edition Topps trading cards featuring his iconic Companion character. The collection, created with Fanatics and Complex, launches during the Yankees-Dodgers rivalry series this July.

Dwayne Johnson is teaming up with Artists Equity and director Greg Kwedar for a new feature film, Free Byrd. The project marks a major collaboration between Johnson and the studio founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, pairing one of Hollywood’s biggest stars with the acclaimed filmmaker behind Sing Sing. Details on the film’s plot and production timeline remain under wraps.

Meta is entering the AI image-generation race with Muse Image, its first in-house model from Meta Superintelligence Labs. The tool will power image creation for consumers across Meta’s apps while also helping advertisers build AI-generated marketing content through its Advantage Plus platform. The launch marks Meta’s push to reduce reliance on third-party AI models and create new revenue opportunities as it ramps up investment in AI.

Blue Origin is preparing to raise outside capital for the first time in its 25-year history, reportedly targeting a $10 billion funding round at a $130 billion valuation. The company founded by Jeff Bezos is expected to receive a major investment from Coatue Management, with Bezos also contributing billions. The raise comes as Blue Origin accelerates its space ambitions and competes with SpaceX in the growing commercial space race.

Waymo is expanding its robotaxi footprint, adding driverless rides in four new U.S. markets: San Diego, Las Vegas, Tampa, and Denver. The Alphabet subsidiary will begin with employee testing before opening service to the public, strengthening its lead in the autonomous vehicle race. Waymo currently operates in more than 10 cities and has completed over 20 million driverless rides as it prepares for further global expansion.
