After re-upping with Philly on a team-friendly deal last offseason, The Beard forced his way to LA. Let’s dive into the details of the newest Clipper’s contract.
James Harden remains undefeated in trade requests.
For the third time in four years, the disgruntled star successfully forced a trade to the NBA team of his choice — this time, it was Philadelphia to the LA Clippers on Halloween 2023. The move comes after The Beard surprisingly opted into the second year (player option) of a two-year, $68.6 million deal signed last offseason, with the thought that he eventually would be moved to LA.
It took a minute to get there, but Harden and his contract now sit in the Clippers’ books next to Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Boardroom breaks down the current contract for James Harden before he hits unrestricted free agency next offseason.
