Manchester City Tops United, Sets Premier League Revenue Record

Following the club’s historic Treble-winning success this year, Manchester City posted a Premier League record of £712.8 million ($890.2 million) in revenue for the 2022-23 season, surpassing the previous record of £648.4 million ($808 million) reported by rival Manchester United last month. City can attribute this success to a £17.4 million ($21.7 million) increase in match-day revenue, increased broadcasting rights, and several outgoing transfers, notably the sales of Raheem Sterling to Chelsea and Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal. Manchester City currently sits atop the Premier League table, one point ahead of Liverpool.

Boardroom’s Shlomo Sprung has more on Man City’s record revenue.
