The theme for the 2025 Met Gala was unveiled on Wednesday, as well as the star-studded lineup co-chairing the event, thanks to a report from Vogue. Co-chairs for the affair are Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Anna Wintour, and Colman Domingo, while first-time attendee LeBron James will serve as honorary co-chair. The theme of the Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York will center around the Costume Institute’s spring presentation, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.” The exhibit will showcase clothing, paintings, and photographs that “explore the indelible style of Black men in the context of dandyism,” detailing the advancements from the 18th century to the present day.

New York Yankees great Derek Jeter is launching his own production company, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively shared Wednesday. Dubbed Cap 2 Productions, the name is a reference to his number with the Yankees and his role as captain of the team. “It’s not just some random company that was started because we said, ‘Hey, we want to get into production now.’ This is an extension of what has been built over the last 10 years,” Jeter said to the outlet. Jeter, who co-founded The Players’ Tribune in 2014, added that Cap 2 will prioritize family-friendly projects in documentary and scripted formats, confirming he plans to be “intimately involved in everything and every decision. And it’s going to stay that way.”

With Wimbledon now on board, the last remaining tournament using line judges is Roland-Garros.
