Jalen Brunson is expanding his business portfolio by launching Thirty Third Management, a family-run firm focused on athlete and executive brand management. The Knicks star will be the companyโ€™s core client, while his mother, Sandra Brunson, serves as president and his sister, Erica Brunson, leads client services. The firm will also represent athletes, entrepreneurs, executives, and foundations, with womenโ€™s professional sports an early priority. Brunsonโ€™s high school teammate Connor Cashaw will serve as director of business development.

Lewis Hamiltonโ€™s Dawn Apollo Studios has signed a multi-year first-look deal with Skydance Sports, expanding the Formula 1 starโ€™s growing entertainment portfolio. The partnership will develop scripted, unscripted, and animated projects, with Hamilton executive producing across the slate. The deal can also extend into Paramount Skydanceโ€™s video games and consumer products businesses. Hamilton launched Dawn Apollo in 2022 and produced Appleโ€™s F1.

Halle Berry, Regina King, Celine Song, and Meg Ryan are joining Tribeca and Chanelโ€™s Through Her Lens program, which supports emerging women and non-binary filmmakers. The initiative runs from Sept. 22-24 in New York, with Berry, King, and Ryan serving as jurors and Song among this yearโ€™s mentors. The three-day program provides participants with funding, creative guidance, and development opportunities, alongside conversations led by filmmakers, actors, and other industry leaders.

The Washington Commanders have unveiled new renderings of their proposed stadium, offering a closer look at the seating bowl planned for the teamโ€™s return to the RFK Stadium site. Scheduled to open for the 2030 NFL season, the venue will feature a continuous seating design intended to improve sightlines, along with an affordable โ€œWall of Fansโ€ section. The $3.8 billion project includes $2.7 billion from the Commanders and $1.1 billion in taxpayer funding overall.

The Federal Reserve raised its benchmark interest rate by a quarter point Wednesday, marking its first hike since 2023 as inflation remains elevated. The move brings the federal funds target range to 3.75%-4%, potentially increasing borrowing costs for mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards. Fed officials also projected another increase later this year, with the median forecast putting the rate at 4.1% by year-end. The decision comes despite President Trumpโ€™s repeated calls for lower rates.

Joe Buck has reportedly agreed to a six-year ESPN extension worth roughly $108 million, keeping the veteran broadcaster on Monday Night Football through the next decade. The deal raises his annual salary from $15 million to approximately $18 million and will have Buck calling ESPNโ€™s first Super Bowl in February and its next one in 2031. Buckโ€™s partner, Troy Aikman, remains unsigned, with his five-year, $90 million ESPN contract set to expire after the upcoming Super Bowl.

A new book examining Bob Igerโ€™s turbulent tenure at Disney is set for release Dec. 1. The House of Mouse: Bob Iger and The War of Succession at Disney, by Wall Street Journal reporter Robbie Whelan, draws on hundreds of interviews and thousands of pages of documents. The book explores Igerโ€™s complicated relationship with former Marvel chief Ike Perlmutter, Disneyโ€™s succession battles, and the corporate power struggles that have shaped the company in recent years.

Bitcoin briefly fell below $75,000 after the U.S. Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act, dealing a setback to the crypto industryโ€™s push for clearer regulations. Coinbase and Circle shares also tumbled, closing down 10% and more than 11%, respectively. The billโ€™s defeat leaves oversight largely in the hands of the SEC and CFTC, whose rules could be easier for future administrations to change. Eastside Golf and Nike are bringing a fresh take to the Air Max 90 Golf for Fall 2026. The collaboration pairs an all-black upper with glossy repeating Eastside Golf script across the mudguard, metallic gold branding and lace hardware, and honeycomb-patterned mesh. Underfoot, course-ready traction keeps the classic silhouette performance-focused. The Air Max 90 Golf is expected to release alongside a matching NEXT% Tour 3 during the fall/winter season.

The WTA Finals are coming to Charlotte, marking the first intentional return of the premier championship event in womenโ€™s professional tennis to the U.S. market in more than 20 years. The season-ending tournament will be held at Spectrum Center from 2027 through 2029, bringing the top singles players and doubles teams to the city. The deal also includes the WTA relocating its global headquarters to Charlotte, further expanding its U.S. footprint.

Dior is opening a new House in Milan, expanding its presence on Via Monte Napoleone with a three-level flagship that doubles the size of its previous location. Designed by Peter Marino after more than two years of work, the space features gardens, commissioned artwork, and exclusive Dior pieces. It will also house Monsieur Dior, a 12-table restaurant led by Italian chef Enrico Bartolini.

The University of Miami is set to return to Nike in 2027 after more than a decade with Adidas, with the Hurricanes reportedly agreeing to a 10-year sponsorship deal worth more than $200 million. The agreement would be worth over $13 million annually more than Miamiโ€™s current Adidas contract, which expires next June. Adidas supposedly made a counteroffer but did not match Nikeโ€™s terms, paving the way for Miami to reunite with the brand it wore during its 2001 national championship season.
