Super Bowl halftime headliners Kendrick Lamar and SZA are together again – this time atop the charts. For the first time ever, the duo has a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit courtesy of GNX’s R&B jam, “luther.” The song, performed by the two at Super Bowl LIX, is Lamar’s sixth No. 1 hit and third this year. It’s the third chart-topper for SZA. 

Nvidia revealed its latest earnings after the bell Wednesday, beating Wall Street’s expectations with a record revenue of $39.33 billion last quarter. Overall, Nvidia showcased a 114% increase in revenue for the full fiscal year; however, the 78% mark for the fourth quarter — its lowest in seven quarters — suggests that the company’s meteoric growth may be slowing down. Looking ahead, Nvidia expects to see $43 billion in revenue in Q1 2025 as it continues to ride the AI wave.

Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio is the newest member of the Rolex family. Famous for dawning Daytona dials since his younger years, the 50-year-old joins the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff on the Rolex roster, also aligning with film colleagues such as Martin Scorsese and James Cameron on Team Crown. GQ notes that DiCaprio’s work in the sustainability sector may be a pillar of this new partnership.

The Doechii hot streak continues. Following a February Grammy Award win for Best Rap Album and an NPR Tiny Desk performance that remains viral, the rapper-singer added model to her resume by walking the Milan runway for Dsquared2. Notably, the MC was not alone, as the likes of Naomi Campbell, Tyson Beckford, NLE Choppa, and more also appeared.

Amazon rolled out the red carpet for its first device-driven launch event in nearly two years on Wednesday in NYC. The occasion? Alexa+: a new-gen update to the famous virtual assistant, now powered by generative AI. According to Amazon, Alexa+ is “more conversational, smarter, personalized” than its predecessor, mobile, and already included in Prime memberships.

$100 million hydration company Caliwater just got another splash of funding. Demi Lovato is the latest investor in Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena’s cactus water business, Boardroom exclusively revealed on Wednesday, joining Aaron Rodgers, Brooke Burke, and more as backers. As Caliwater aims to surpass a $150 million valuation in 2025, Lovato will also serve as a brand ambassador and partner.

Super Bowl champion Michael Strahan is taking his namesake lifestyle brand from the factory straight to your door. The football Hall of Famer-turned-TV personality has launched Michael Strahan Design Lab™ in partnership with Custom Wrkshop, allowing online shoppers to build their own made-to-order suits from the comfort of their homes.

Following 2024’s $1.2 billion buy at the hands of Authentic Brands Group, heritage sportswear supplier Champion is teaming up with Target in an attempt to scale sales. The brand and the retailer have a long history of doing business, with Target now making the leap from stockist to collaborator. This fall, a collection of over 500 exclusive items ranging from apparel to sporting goods is slated to begin its rollout.

Brat Summer is seeing a warm winter. After nine previous nominations, Charli XCX is set to take home her first BRIT Award, being crowned Songwriter of the Year ahead of the upcoming March ceremony. The prize recognizes her acclaimed work on 2024’s Brat, the second chart-topping album of her career.

Decorated sports medicine surgeon Riley J. Williams III has been appointed as the Hospital for Special Surgery’s Chief of the Sports Medicine Institute. Famous for performing the first knee cartilage transplantation in New York at HSS in 1998, Williams has continued leading the sports medicine industry as an expert advising the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and New York Red Bulls.

U2 frontman Bono is the latest musical icon positioned for the documentary treatment. According to Deadline, the singer-songwriter is working with Apple Original Films to turn his best-selling memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, into an immersive movie experience. Production is said to be completed with a May release on Apple TV+, launching in tandem with a Vision Pro pairing that will take audiences deeper into the artist’s life.

Canadian outdoor apparel and sporting goods company Arc’teryx is on a tear. The technical brand held under Amer Sports recently reported $2 billion in sales throughout 2024, driven by a fourth-quarter push that saw a significant increase in womenswear buying. In 2025, Arc’teryx is expected to have 200 stores across North America.
