Dallas Cowboys Free Agents for the 2022 Offseason

“America’s Team” wants to build on a division-winning season — but they’ll be navigating a tough salary cap situation as the NFL free agency period begins in March.

The Dallas Cowboys will always be an attention magnet. Even as the team surpassed a quarter-century without a Super Bowl ring, they remain the most valuable franchise in global sports year after year and an object of absolute fascination — both by fans and detractors alike.

Their most recent season ended in a disappointing Wild Card Playoff exit against the 49ers, but Jerry Jones and Co. retained not just head coach Mike McCarthy, but offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn in hopes of running it back and keeping the NFC East crown. To do so, they’ll have to navigate a series of roster decisions in free agency that could constitute a make-or-break for their 2022 campaign.

With that in mind, let’s look at the imminent Dallas Cowboys free agents who will officially hit the open market on March 16 when the new NFL league year begins.
