Boardroom Announces Partnership with FanDuel

The deal comes on the heels of sports betting’s legalization in New York and will cover web content, social media, contests, giveaways, and more.

Boardroom and FanDuel have agreed to a multi-year exclusive content-focused partnership that spans web, editorial, video, audio and social media, the companies announced on Wednesday.

As part of the deal, FanDuel is now the exclusive sports betting, fantasy, horse racing, gaming, casino, and poker partner of Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s sports business media network, as well as its official odds provider. Boardroom and FanDuel will co-create a show debuting later this year that will be featured on both companies’ networks, with FanDuel also sponsoring other select Boardroom content.

“I’m really excited to be bringing this partnership with FanDuel to life, particularly following the recent legalization of sports betting in New York, where Boardroom is based,” said Rich Kleiman, Boardroom’s Co-founder and CEO. “We will be bringing our fans inside not just the how-tos of betting, but the business behind it and how it fits into the larger sports ecosystem.”

Additionally, Boardroom will devote a section of its “Boardroom Breakers” weekly newsletter to FanDuel’s latest odds, data, content, and promotions. It will also contribute monthly articles to FanDuel’s content site The Duel.

The two companies plan to collaborate on social media giveaways and other initiatives centered around the year’s biggest sporting events, as well as odds boosts and fantasy contests on FanDuel’s immensely popular platforms.

“Content creation has always been a focal point for us as we bring our other premier real money gaming products to customers across the U.S.,” said Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel Group’s chief marketing officer. “We’re excited to collaborate with the talented team over at Boardroom  to bring our customers unique content, events, and more.”
