Amidst the many storylines of the 2023 NFL season, the New York Giants’ surprising star QB Tommy DeVito rises to the top. Tommy Cutlets led the G-men to three straight wins before falling to the Saints over the weekend. However, Tommy Cutlets has captured hearts in the tristate, and he’s looking to cash in. Trademark attorney Josh Gerben reports that Devito filed trademarks for both “Tommy Cutlets” and “Passing Paisano.” The filings cover everything from merchandise to pizza and pasta.

Peacock Prepares to Offer First-ever Commercial Free Quarter in Bills-Chargers Game

The NFL and NBCUniversal is looking to try something new this weekend. Those tuned into the Bills-Chargers matchup for the Peacock Holiday Exclusive will notice that there are no commercials for the game coming this weekend. NBCUniversal secured underwriting from Capital One, Hyundai, and Walmart — and will provide “a groundbreaking fan experience” The game is also the first-ever exclusive NFL game to broadcast on Peacock.

Cole Bennett Recruits Lil Durk, KId Cudi, & More for Upcoming Creative Project 'All Is Yellow'

To celebrate ten years of Lyrical Lemonade, Cole Bennett is embarking on a new creative endeavor. Bennet and Lyrical Lemonade are dropping their first album All is Yellow on Jan. 26. The project will include everyone from Lil Durk to Kid Cudi. While Bennett is no stranger to creative collabs with top-tier talent, the new album will feature a corresponding video project for each song on the tracklist that will have an overarching theme. “I just hope that it inspires people to push the boundaries and do things that they normally wouldn’t do,” Bennett told Complex.

NBA Appoints First-ever president of New Business Ventures

The NBA is looking to expand its business. In order to do so, the Association hired Amy Brooks as its first-ever President of New Business Ventures. Brooks previously worked for the NBA, serving as the President of Team Marketing and Business Operations. In the new role, she will be responsible for bringing in domestic and international business. In her prior position, Brooks facilitated the NBA’s expansion activities, including the in-season tournament and the Basketball Africa League.

Fanatics Targets Imposters with Legal Filings in Florida

The Fanatics team is looking out to ensure that shoppers are getting the best product they can. Fanatics filed legal paperwork in the Southern District of Florida that aims to target retail sites that copy the “look and feel” of the Fanatics shopping experience. The websites intentionally mimic the original, the company contends, and not only mislead consumers but also seek to profit off of the Fanatics’ brand. The company also suggests that due to the “fake” websites, consumers may be subject to purchasing unlicensed products.
