NBA Futures Betting Odds for the 2022-23 Season

As was the case last season, parity could reign supreme for the NBA in 2022-23. Without an overwhelming betting favorite to win the title, Boardroom explores who to keep an eye on with the latest odds.

After a drama-filled offseason across the board, the NBA is less than a week away from tipping off. Finally.

The 2022-23 campaign will certainly be an entertaining one, with a number of teams holding realistic hopes of being the ones to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Finals MVP Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are looking to repeat as champions, as they did in 2017 and 2018. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers aim to get back on track after missing the playoffs last year. And with multiple contenders, has the Eastern Conference finally overtaken its western counterpart as the stronger of the two?

Similar to the theme over the last few seasons, fans can expect This League to not stick to the script. Just ask the NBA GMs, who overwhelmingly voted for the Brooklyn Nets to win the NBA title over the postseason-missing Lakers last year. In fact, the Warriors weren’t given a single vote in the 2021-22 NBA.com anonymous GM poll.

This year’s iteration of the GM survey favors teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks, Warriors, Boston Celtics, and LA Clippers. But what do the odds say? Boardroom provides a full breakdown of the NBA futures odds below.
