Now, a FIFA disciplinary committee extended that punishment, banning him from the sport of soccer, both in country and international service, for three years. FIFA released a statement, which concluded, “FIFA reiterates its absolute commitment to respecting and protecting the integrity of all people and ensuring that the basic rules of decent conduct are upheld.”
