Lewis Hamilton, Serena Williams Set Sights on TMRW with New Investment

Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams are two of the best to ever do it in their respective sports. Therefore, it’s not surprising that they linked with another GOAT. Hamilton and Williams are each part of the newest chapter of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW. The futuristic golf company revealed its first-ever class of investors, which also includes Alex Morgan, Steph Curry, Justin Timberlake, Tony Romo, and Shohei Ohtani. The round was co-led by Connect Ventures and 25madison Ventures.

Lindsey Vonn and CBS Studios Team up for First-look Deal

Lindsey Vonn is keeping things busy in retirement. The world-champion ski racer revealed that she has inked a first-look deal with CBS Studios. Vonn launched Après Productions “to chronicle unheralded stories of sport, determination, and the human experience.” Vonn, herself, was featured in the HBO docuseries Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season which followed her last days as a professional skier. 

Mariah Carey Seizes Her Season with New Christmas Merch Drop

All I want for Christmas is…a Mariah Carey pajama set?  As soundtracks switched from “Monster Mash” to “All I Want for Christmas is You,” the reigning queen of Christmas unveiled a new collection of holiday-themed merch to kickstart the season. Carey launched the drop on her personal website and it includes everything from ornaments to cozy robes and will run you $15-140. 

University of Tennessee Tops CFP Rankings

Excitement is high in Knoxville. The undefeated University of Tennessee emerged in the top spot of the season’s first CFP rankings.  Ohio State, Georgia, and Michigan round out the top four behind the Vols. The College Football Championship will be played at SoFi Stadium on Jan. 9.

Elon Musk Advocates for $8 Subscription for Verification Status

Elon Musk is making his presence known in his first days at Twitter. The social media platform’s new owner is encouraging an expansion of Twitter’s subscription service Twitter Blue. He is calling for a price boost of $8 monthly that would enable each user to tote a blue verification check. He has branded his crusade as part of his commitment to “free speech.” The site has seen a spike in hate speech since he took it over last week.

Overtime Elite Heads to Prime Video

The dawn of basketball season is upon us. This year, fans everywhere can catch the high-caliber action from Overtime Elite as the prep league announced that it will stream 20 of its games on Prime Video. The coverage tips off on Nov. 4. This is not the first collab between the two, as Amazon participated in Overtime’s Series D fundraising effort earlier this year.

NBA G League Launches New Campaign Featuring 2 Chainz

Tauheed Epps, known by his stage name 2 Chainz, unveiled the NBA G League’s season anthem for the 2022-23 year. The new campaign, titled “A Whole Different League,”  highlights the gritty determination of its hoopers, the NBA stars of tomorrow. Combining graphic novel animations with action-packed G League highlights, the campaign focuses on how G League players make it to the next level by being “built different.”

Adidas Celebrates 30 Years of the Flying V with ‘Mighty Ducks’ Collection
