Billy Eppler Set to Take Over as Mets GM
The New York Mets’ extended search for a GM is expected to come to a close. Reports indicate that Billy Eppler, who previously served for the Angels, logged a decade with the Yankees, and most recently was the head of baseball representation at the William Morris Endeavor agency, will take over the head of baseball operations position for the club. The Mets have had four GMs over the last year, and are hopeful that Eppler will be in for the long haul.
Ottawa Senators Suspend Games Through Nov 20th Due to COVID Concerns
The Ottawa hockey season has hit another snafu. Ten players on the Senators’ roster have been placed in COVID protocols, forcing the team to suspend action through at least Nov. 20th.
