DC AG Sues The Commanders, Dan Snyder, Roger Goodell, & the NFL

Things are getting messy in the capitol. The District’s Attorney General Karl Racine revealed on Thursday that it is bringing a suit against Dan Snyder, The Commanders, Roger Goodell, and the NFL. The lawsuit alleges that the four parties deceived the residents of the nation’s capital about the independent investigation into workplace misconduct.

Chris Rock Set to Make History with First-ever Live Performance on Netflix

Chris Rock is looking forward to the prospect of putting 2022 in the rearview. The comedian was one party in one of the year’s most unforgettable moments, which took place at this year’s Oscars. His 2023 is bound to be better. Netflix announced on Thursday that Rock will be the first performer in history to stage a live show on the platform. It’s set to take place in “early 2023.”

New York is what’s happening. Kith Founder Ronnie Fieg deeply loves everything about the city that raised him. Following the reveal of the New York Knicks City Edition jersey, the team announced Fieg as its first-ever creative director. Endeavor Posts $1.2B in Q3 Revenues

The acquisition of UFC proved to be a successful gamble for Endeavor. The MMA outfit has routinely driven revenues for the company, helping it to a $1.2 billion Q3. The quarter included extensive action. Endeavor finalized its $800 million purchase of OpenBet and its decision to sell off 10 minor league baseball teams for $280 million.

Spalding Becomes Official Basketball of Overtime Elite

The Overtime Elite season is officially underway. As some of the country’s top basketball talent hit the hardwood, they will have a new ball in hand. Spalding and Overtime Elite announced an official partnership. For the entirety of the season, each game will feature 29.5” TF Model M Official Leather Indoor Game Basketball. The ball nods to the deep roots of the sport, including its founder Dr. James Naismith, for whom Spalding produced its first ball in 1894. 

Eli Manning Flexes New Skills on Fivio Foreign Track

Eli Manning is trying lots of new things in retirement. The two-time Super Bowl champ and his former center Shaun O’Hara linked up with Fivio Foreign for a verse on “Giants on Three.” It’s not the first foray into new territory for Manning, who recently rolled up to Penn State tryouts as “Chad Powers” as part of a bit for the Omaha Productions show Eli’s Places.
