However, Adidas is looking forward. The brand teased its upcoming metaverse project, which is set to drop on Nov. 16.
Binance Backs out of FTX Deal
Things continue to get bleaker for FTX. The cryptocurrency exchange had inked an unbiding letter of intent with Binance, which planned to purchase the company. However, a dive into the details revealed too much instability, leading Binance to back out of the deal. The news comes on the same day that reports revealed that FTX is subject to a federal investigation by the SEC.
Snoop Dogg is Taking His Life Story to the Silver Screen
From the streets of Long Beach to the main stage at the Super Bowl halftime show, Snoop Dogg has a lifetime of stories to tell. The Death Row rapper is teaming up with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever writer Joe Robert Cole to document them for an upcoming biopic. Allen Hughes has signed on to direct. The film will be the first release from Death Row Pictures and will be distributed in collaboration with Universal. In a statement, Snoop said, “I waited a long time to put this project together because I wanted to choose the right director, the perfect writer, and the greatest movie company I could partner with that could understand the legacy that I’m trying to portray on screen, and the memory I’m trying to leave behind,”
Brittney Griner Transferred to Penal Colony, Whereabouts Unknown

The clarion call is as loud as ever as reports from Russian indicate that two-time Olympic gold medalist Brittney Griner has been transferred to a penal colony; however, her precise location is unknown. The move comes after Russian courts denied Griner’s appeal on Oct. 25 following her conviction on charges stemming from a February arrest on alleged drug possession. US diplomatic efforts to orchestrate a prisoner exchange to secure her freedom have been thus far unsuccessful.
Brooklyn Nets Long-time Assistant Jacque Vaughn Takes Over as Head Coach
Following the departure of Steve Nash and a swirl of unconfirmed reports of potential replacements, the Nets have a new boss. Brooklyn officially announced long-time assistant Jacque Vaughn as the team’s new coach. Vaughn is the sixth different head coach since the Nets moved to Brooklyn in 2012. He brings a lengthy NBA resumé to the team. The Nets stepped up for their new boss on Wednesday, handily beating the Knicks, 112-85.

MLP & PPA’s Vibe Merge to Form Pickleball Super League
Pickleball is booming, and the two biggest names in the professional game are joining forces to build a powerhouse. Major League Pickleball and the PPA’s Vibe league announced on Wednesday that they are teaming up to create a super league. The MLP, which currently has 16 teams, will bring aboard six VIBE teams under the Major League Pickleball umbrella. VIBE brings along some of the world’s top players, namely JW Johnson, Anna Leigh Waters, and Ben Johns.
