The global sportswear company announced last year that it had purchased a Bored Ape NFT, which it named Indigo Herz, that will serve as its mascot for all things Web3. Jessica Cohen Shatters Glass Ceiling with Debut as Blazers’ Head Trainer

The Portland Trail Blazers commemorated a historical moment, as their head trainer Jessica Cohen became the first woman in team history to hold that position and is the only woman in the NBA to hold the title at this time. In her third year with the franchise, Cohen took over the head trainer responsibilities, yielding praise from various people around the sport including CJ McCollum and Baylor head coach Nicki Collen. Prior to taking an assistant athletic trainer position with the Blazers, the former Vanderbilt swimmer put in seven years in the WNBA with the Atlanta Dream and the Chicago Sky. Cohen follows in the footsteps of Nina Hsieh who was the first woman in NBA history to claim the position as the Head Trainer for the Lakers in August 2019.

Kenzo Brings Out Star Power with Paris Show

The LVMH owned French fashion house put out its men’s collection on Sunday, the first for its new artistic director Nigo. Kenzo brought out the stars in Paris for its Autumn/Winter menswear show, including Nigo’s Billionaire Boys Club collaborator Pharrell, Kanye West, Tyler, the Creator, Pusha T, and more. Nigo, who previously founded A Bathing Ape and helped popularize high-end streetwear across the globe, is the first person of Japanese descent to head up the brand since its founder Kenzo Takada.

FTX to Team Up with Visa to Make Crypto Payments Easier

The cryptocurrency exchange announced that it has struck a new partnership with Visa that will make it possible to pay at retailers around the world with crypto. However, users may be disappointed that in the initial rollout, the cards will not be available in the United States. NFL Divisional Playoffs off to a Thrilling Start as 49ers and Bengals Advance

NFL fans grumbled about the lackluster Wild Card weekend, but the first two games of the divisional playoffs have more than made up for things. Both the Bengals/Titans and the 49ers/Packers matchups were decided by field goals that crossed the uprights as the clock expired. The 49ers and Bengals each continued their hot streaks, sending the home teams to pack up their lockers. With the loss, questions began to swirl around Aaron Rodgers’ future in Green Bay with signs pointing to the fact that it is likely to be his final game in green at Lambeau.
