Lil Yachty is the latest celebrity to enter the alcohol space, announcing a partnership with additive-free tequila seltzer brand Yacht Water. Available in three flavors – key lime, jalapeño, and sunrise – the beverage is currently available only in Tennessee and Georgia. 

Gayle King is set to join Katy Perry and Lauren Sánchez on an all-women Blue Origin crew heading to space this spring, marking the 11th human flight for Blue Origin’s New Shepard program. The trio will be joined by NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn. 

Unrivaled, WNBPA, and OneTeam Partners announced a groundbreaking collaboration that increases commercial opportunities for the athletes through both group licensing and sponsorship. The WNBPA will authorize group player rights to Unrivaled in support of the league’s long-term sponsorship and licensing operations. In return, Unrivaled will compensate the WNBPA. OneTeam will be Unrivaled’s exclusive licensing partner in the trading card and memorabilia categories.

Zendaya is lending her talents to the fifth installment of the Shrek franchise. The two-time Emmy winner will voice the daughter of the lovable ogre (Mike Myers) and his wife Fiona (Cameron Diaz). Although there are no plot details yet, Shrek 5 has a confirmed release date of Dec. 23, 2026. 

Disney+ will begin exclusively broadcasting a condensed version of ESPN’s long-running show SportsCenter. Set to debut on March 3, SC+ will be hosted by Gary Striewski and Randy Scott on weekdays and Hannah Storm and Jay Harris on weekends. Viewers can expect a “fast-paced” update with the day’s most important moments in sports. 

Ahead of the NWSL’s 2025 season kicking off next month, the league and kit partner Nike unveiled the uniforms on Thursday. The reveal also includes updated goalkeeper uniforms as well as 2024 expansion club Bay FC’s debut jersey set featuring the team’s full brand identity.

Complete with a mission statement to “rally the world,” the WTA announced a major rebrand on Thursday. Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, and Aryna Sabalenka each shared advertising spots declaring “this is not a tennis court,” describing it, instead, as a stage to express their identity. Reflecting on the new effort, WTA Ventures CEO Marina Storti told Boardroom’s Shlomo Sprung, “We really wanted to reposition the WTA not only as the leader in women’s sport, but as a global sports and entertainment brand.”

One of New York’s most exclusive clubs will be taking up residence in Las Vegas. Bond Hospitality Group announced that Zero Bond at Wynn Las Vegas is now accepting applications for its founding and general membership tiers. Founding Members will have a one-time fee of $50,000 and $7,500 in annual dues, which will unlock several benefits, including reciprocity with its New York location and a spousal membership. The space will feature private cigar humidors and wine lockers, a sculpture garden, and a private valet. It is expected to open its doors in late 2025. 

Emory University confirmed that Usher will deliver the commencement speech to the 2025 graduating class on May 12. The award-winning R&B artist will also receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree. Usher previously received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee School of Music in Boston, where he delivered the commencement address in 2023.

A new documentary spotlighting Maria Grazia Chiuri’s collections for Dior is dropping on March 8, International Women’s Day. Directed by Loïc Prigent, WWD says Her Dior – Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Collaborations with Women Artists focuses on the artists, photographers, performers, and writers Chiuri has worked alongside during her time as the couture brand’s creative director to produce runway shows, collections, and brand campaigns.
