Spotify Wrapped revealed that Bad Bunny is once again the worldโs most-streamed artist on its platform in 2025, earning over 19.8 billion streams and dethroning Taylor Swift. Globally, heโs followed by Swift, The Weeknd, Drake, and Billie Eilish, while in the U.S., Swift leads the list with Bad Bunny in fifth place. His album Debรญ Tirar Mรกs Fotos is the most-streamed worldwide, followed by the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and albums by Eilish, SZA, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft Named Finalists for Pro Football Hall of Fame 2026 Class
Patriots owner Robert Kraft and former coach Bill Belichick are among five finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fameโs 2026 class. They join senior finalists Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, and L.C. Greenwood. The full selection committee can vote for up to three finalists next year, with 80% needed for election. If no one reaches that threshold, the top vote-getter is inducted โ meaning Kraft and Belichick could enter together or compete for a single spot. Fifteen modern-era finalists will be announced later this month.
‘Euphoria’ Sets Season 3 Premiere Window
HBO confirmed via Instagram that Euphoria Season 3 will premiere in April 2026, more than four years after Season 2 ended in early 2022. The new eight-episode season features returning stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and guest star Colman Domingo. Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry have been promoted to series regulars, with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace also joining the cast. Sharon Stone will make an appearance as well.
BET Announces New President in Louis Carr
Louis Carr, BETโs longtime President of Media Sales, has been promoted to President of BET, succeeding Scott Mills. Carr, who has been with the network for 39 years, will also keep his media sales role and will report to George Cheeks, Chair of TV Media at Paramount. BET Studios will shift to operate as a label within CBS Studios, still led by Aisha Summers-Burke. Cheeks also noted that several BET corporate functions will now be centralized across Paramountโs TV Media division following recent company-wide layoffs.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Dwayne Johnson, Julia Roberts and Ariana Grande Set for ‘Actors on Actors’ Season 23
Variety and CNN unveiled Wednesday the lineup for Season 23 of Actors on Actors, featuring A-list conversations between Jennifer Lawrence with Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler with Ariana Grande, Julia Roberts with Sean Penn, and Dwayne Johnson with Brendan Fraser. The season begins Dec. 5, with one conversation released daily for 13 days. Itโs the first season under the new CNN-Variety partnership, with episodes debuting first on CNNโs new streaming service before appearing on Varietyโs platforms.
B.B. King Biopic in the Works
Canton Entertainment is teaming with Vassal Benford and The B.B. King Music Company & Estate on Lucille, the first authorized biopic about late blues legend B.B. King and his iconic Gibson guitar. Per Deadline, Benford will produce on behalf of the estate, with additional executive producers from Written Blvd., Exemplar Media, Worldwide Entertainment, and Stokes Entertainment. The film follows Kingโs journey from poverty in Mississippi to global stardom, highlighting his collaborations with major artists like Eric Clapton, U2, and the Rolling Stones, as well as his deep, defining bond with his guitar, Lucille.
NFL Thanksgiving Games Shatter Viewing Records
Thanksgiving delivered record-breaking NFL viewership across all networks. The Chiefs–Cowboys game on CBS drew 57.23 million viewers โ the most-watched regular-season game in NFL history โ peaking at over 61 million and becoming Paramount+โs biggest NFL stream ever. Fox also hit a record with 47.7 million viewers for Packers–Lions, its most-watched regular-season game. NBC capped the holiday with 28.4 million viewers for Bengals–Ravens, marking the most-watched Thanksgiving night game ever.
Brian Koppelman, David Levien, Martin Scorsese Team for Las Vegas Casino Drama at Netflix
Netflix has ordered an eight-episode drama series set in the high-stakes world of modern Las Vegas casinos. Created by Billions duo Brian Koppelman and David Levien โ who will also serve as showrunners โ the series follows Bobby โBobby Redโ Redman, the powerful president of the cityโs hottest casino, as he makes risky moves to protect and expand his position. Martin Scorsese will executive produce alongside a slate of additional producers. Koppelman and Levien bring deep experience with gambling stories, having worked on Oceanโs 13, Rounders, and Runner Runner.
Payrolls at US Companies Fall by Largest Margin Since 2023
U.S. private-sector job losses accelerated in November, with ADP reporting a decline of 32,000 positions, far below expectations for a 40,000 gain. The weakness came almost entirely from small businesses, which shed 120,000 jobs, the largest drop since March 2023, while larger companies added 90,000. Education and health services and leisure and hospitality saw modest gains, but broad losses in professional and business services, information, manufacturing, finance, and construction pulled totals down. Wage growth also cooled slightly, with pay for job stayers rising 4.4% year over year.
NBA & Clippers Give 75 Hoops a Day for 75 Days Ahead of NBA All-Star
To mark 75 days until NBA All-Star 2026 at the Clippersโ Intuit Dome, the NBA and LA Clippers launched All-Star Homecourt Hoops, a community initiative giving LA families the chance to receive free NBA All-Star-branded outdoor basketball hoops. Starting Wednesday, residents can submit personal stories online for a daily chance to win. The program aims to increase youth access to basketball amid declining sports participation, limited safe play spaces, and rising childhood obesity. The All-Star game is scheduled for Feb.15, featuring the new U.S. vs. World format.
