Sony Pictures is reportedly developing a new Men in Black film, with Bad Boys for Life writer Chris Bremner set to pen the script. While no cast is attached yet, insiders say Will Smith will be among the first to read the finished draft in hopes heโ€™ll return as Agent J, though his potential role — whether lead or a passing-the-torch cameo — is unclear. Deadline adds that Smith is not currently attached and wonโ€™t commit until he sees the script.

Rosalรญa announced her Lux Tour 2026 on Thursday, a 42-date arena tour across 17 countries from mid-March to early September. It starts March 16 in France, travels through Europe, and reaches North America in early June. The shows will bring her orchestral album Lux to life, though itโ€™s not confirmed whether an orchestra will join her. General ticket sales begin Dec. 11, following an Amex presale on Dec. 9.

Not even a year into his role as creative director and Dario Vitale is already leaving Versace, effective Dec. 12, according to executive chairman Lorenzo Bertelli. Until a successor is named, the creative team will operate under CEO Emmanuel Gintzburger. Vitale previously led ready-to-wear at Miu Miu and was reportedly aware of Prada Groupโ€™s plans to acquire Versace, making his long-term role unlikely. Reports suggest that Anthony Vaccarello and Pieter Mulier, two designers with ties to both Prada and Versace, are being considered to replace Vitale.

Jon M. Chu has signed a multi-year first-look film and TV deal with Paramount Skydance, starting Jan. 2. After directing Wicked and Wicked: For Good for Universal and previously producing hits like Crazy Rich Asians and In the Heights under a Warner Bros. deal, Chu will now base his Electric Somewhere banner on the Paramount lot. He joins other major talent recently signed to the studio, including the Duffer brothers, James Mangold, and Will Smith.

Unrivaled and Sephora are expanding their multi-year partnership, with the beauty brand taking over naming rights for the leagueโ€™s Miami home base. For Season 2, Sephora will again provide makeup for all athletes, with expanded gifting, more behind-the-scenes content, and a replica Sephora Tunnel in the Fan Fest area. Inside the arena, Sephora will have prominent branding and immersive installations, while additional fan experiences will roll out at Sephoraโ€™s Miami store and through rewards-based ticket offers.

SXSW announced that NEONโ€™s I Love Boosters, the new film from Boots Riley, will open the 2026 Film & TV Festival, marking the eventโ€™s 40th year. The film follows a crew of professional shoplifters targeting a ruthless fashion mogul and features an ensemble cast that includes Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza Gonzรกlez, LaKeith Stanfield, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore. The full festival slate will be announced in January.

FIFA has selected Fanatics as the official on-site retail licensee for the 2026 World Cup, tasked with managing in-venue stores for all 104 matches across 39 days in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. The company will also create custom retail experiences at FIFA Fan Festival locations in host cities. Now with 48 nations playing, Fanatics will collaborate with top brands to offer extensive gear and use its massive on-demand manufacturing and global supply chain to quickly produce merch tied to major moments during the tournament.

Scarlett Johansson is in final negotiations to join The Batman Part II, the sequel to Matt Reevesโ€™ 2021 film, marking her return to major franchise work after exiting the MCU four years ago. She is expected to shoot The Exorcist first, then move on to the Gotham-set project, which plans to film next year. Johansson, whose recent work includes Jurassic World: Rebirth and her directorial debut Eleanor the Great, would join returning star Robert Pattinson, with Reeves directing and co-writing the script with Mattson Tomlin.

Ralph Lauren unveiled Team USAโ€™s uniforms for the upcoming Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, inspired by Americana knitwear and vintage touches. The opening ceremony look pairs a red, white, and blue patterned sweater with cream trousers and a matching wool coat, while the closing ceremony outfit features a retro ski-inspired puffer jacket over a color-blocked sweater. A wider Team USA collection is now available to the public. Ralph Lauren, which has designed Team USAโ€™s apparel since 2008, is already developing designs for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Vin Diesel of Fast & Furious fame will now write the live-action feature adaptation of Mattel Studiosโ€™ Rock โ€™Em Sock โ€™Em Robots, in which he is also set to star and produce through his One Race Films banner. The film will bring the classic tabletop boxing gameโ€™s characters, Red Rocker and Blue Bomber, to life, with Samantha Vincent also producing. Mattelโ€™s upcoming slate includes a live-action Masters of the Universe film arriving June 5, as well as Matchbox with Apple Original Films, starring John Cena.
