Paramount Pictures has signed a first-look, multi-picture deal with Will Smith and his company Westbrook, focusing on global, franchise-starting films. French luxury designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has teamed up with Veuve Clicquot for a stylish new collaboration, featuring a limited-edition La Grande Dame 2018 bottle and a sculptural Champagne cooler set. The design includes Jacquemus’ handwritten touches and a white linen wrap inspired by heirloom textiles and vintage bottle-chilling methods. NBCUniversal has officially sold out all advertising slots for its Feb. 8, 2026, broadcast of Super Bowl LX, confirming what many in the industry already suspected. The company had been asking $7 million for a 30-second spot – matching last year’s rate – prompting quick interest from advertisers. While most inventory was gone by June, there’s speculation NBCU held back a few premium slots to potentially command up to $8 million or bundle them with broader media packages across its portfolio.

Saquon, a feature-length documentary about Saquon Barkley, will premiere Oct. 9 on Prime Video, aligning with the Thursday Night Football showdown between the Eagles and Giants. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, the film offers an intimate look at Barkley’s path to Super Bowl glory with the reigning champs, highlighting his recovery from injury, contract battles, and personal life as a father and husband. Featuring five years of personal video diaries, the project promises a raw, behind-the-scenes view of the running back’s evolution on and off the field.

Prime Video has officially cast Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in its upcoming Tomb Raider series, created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Turner was selected from a shortlist of contenders that included Mackenzie Davis, Emma Mackey, and Lucy Boynton. The series will begin production on Jan. 19, with Chad Hodge joining Waller-Bridge as co-showrunner and Jonathan Van Tulleken set to direct and executive produce.

Miguel is set to return with Caos, his first full-length album since 2017’s War & Leisure. The new project arrives Oct. 23 – his 40th birthday – and will feature 12 tracks, including the previously released single “Always Time.” While Miguel has dropped a few EPs and singles in recent years, Caos marks his long-awaited comeback to the album format.

James Gunn confirmed on Wednesday that the follow-up to his Superman film will be titled Man of Tomorrow and is set to arrive in theaters on July 9, 2027. While Gunn emphasized it’s not a direct Superman 2, David Corenswet’s Superman will play a major role. Plot details remain under wraps, but Gunn tagged both Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor) in the reveal, hinting at their continued involvement. 

WHOOP has entered a new partnership with ex-One Direction member Niall Horan, who joins the company not only as a brand ambassador but also as an investor. Horan will collaborate on exclusive content, campaigns, and community initiatives focused on recovery, sleep, and overall wellness.
