Josh Allen is taking his talents beyond the football field. The Buffalo Bills quarterback has launched Out of Pocket Studios, a new media company where heโ€™ll serve as CEO and executive producer. The venture will develop entertainment, commercial, and experiential projects, building on Allenโ€™s partnership with Skydance Sports. Its initial slate includes a Labor Day TV special, the weekly NFL Play Action on Paramount+ and a documentary about a Buffalo blizzard hero.

Michael Keaton and Morgan Freeman are reuniting on screen for Rode to Ruin, a new Western thriller that Keaton will direct and star in. Keaton plays a retired U.S. Marshal hunting his wifeโ€™s killer, while Freeman portrays an aging outlaw who may hold the key to the case. Written by R. Dean McCreary, the film marks the actors’ first onscreen collaboration in nearly 40 years, following 1988โ€™s Clean and Sober.

Stan Kroenke is adding Major League Baseball to his growing sports empire. The Rams owner has agreed to buy the Angels from Arte Moreno, ending Morenoโ€™s 23-year tenure after a decade-long playoff drought. The deal gives Kroenke Sports & Entertainment its sixth major sports franchise, joining the Rams, Nuggets, Avalanche, Rapids, and Arsenal. The Angels were valued at $2.8 billion by Forbes earlier this year.

Peyton Manning, George Kittle, and Shane Gillis are starring in Bud Lightโ€™s new campaign for Can-O-Flage, an insulated sleeve that transforms any beer can into a team-branded Bud Light can. Created with Fanatics, the accessory is available for fans of 27 NFL teams, giving them a way to rep their squad anywhere, even in enemy territory. The campaign arrives alongside the return of Bud Lightโ€™s limited-edition NFL team cans.

Travis Kelce is taking his fashion influence to Tommy Hilfigerโ€™s latest campaign. The Chiefs star fronts the brandโ€™s fall collection, photographed at The Plaza alongside Gigi Hadid, Jisoo, Frances Tiafoe, and Carmelo Anthony. Kelce, who became Hilfigerโ€™s global brand ambassador last year, is also collaborating on a Spring 2027 capsule. The partnership further cements his crossover appeal across sports, fashion and entertainment.

The FTC is taking Amazon to court, accusing the e-commerce giant of secretly inflating advertising costs through its pricing and auction systems. The agency, joined by 22 state attorneys general, alleges Amazon collected more than $20 billion in hidden surcharges from advertisers since 2019. Amazon called the lawsuit misguided, arguing the FTC misunderstands its ad business and that its auction system actually saved advertisers billions. The case now heads to federal court.

Emily Blunt is adding another major honor to her awards-season rรฉsumรฉ. The Oscar-nominated star of Disclosure Day will receive the Santa Barbara International Film Festivalโ€™s 19th annual Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film on Dec. 10. She joins an elite roster of past recipients including Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Michelle Yeoh, Martin Scorsese, Jane Fonda, and Robert De Niro.

The NFL and Roc Nation are bringing a new soundtrack to the 2026 season with their annual Songs of the Season campaign. This yearโ€™s lineup spans hip-hop, R&B, and global sounds, featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Memphis Bleek, Infinity Song, Lismar, and more. Luca Guadagninoโ€™s Artificial is headed to the festival circuit after all. The Andrew Garfield-led drama about OpenAI CEO Sam Altmanโ€™s dramatic firing and reinstatement will premiere at the New York Film Festival on Oct. 5 before screening at the London Film Festival on Oct. 11. The film had an unexpected detour after Amazon MGM dropped it earlier this year, with Neon stepping in to release the project later this year ahead of awards season.

Netflix is taking a deeper look at Matthew Perryโ€™s life and legacy. The One About Matthew Perry, a new three-part docuseries directed by Quiet on Set filmmaker Mary Robertson, will feature interviews with Perryโ€™s sister and longtime friends, exploring his rise from comedic star to beloved Friends icon. The series will also examine his private struggles with addiction, offering a more intimate portrait of the actor, who died in 2023 at age 54.

Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was killed in a 1996 Las Vegas drive-by shooting, a jury has found Duane โ€œKeffe Dโ€ Davis guilty of first-degree murder. Prosecutors argued Davis orchestrated the attack as retaliation for a fight involving his nephew, pointing to his own statements and memoir. Davis, 63, has maintained his innocence and plans to appeal. He faces a potential life sentence without parole pending his hearing Oct. 13.

Miley Cyrus is kicking off her next chapter with the announcement of Bass Persuades, her 10th studio album, due Sept. 18. The pop star also revealed two Hollywood Bowl shows for Oct. 16 and 18, marking her first full concerts since 2022. The album follows last yearโ€™s Something Beautiful and is Cyrusโ€™ first release since signing with Atlantic Records after leaving Sony Music.

Leslie Odom Jr. is taking Hamilton back to the screen. After reprising his Tony-winning role as Aaron Burr for a nine-week West End run, Odom revealed a new documentary chronicling his return to the Broadway production. The film captures the significance of the musicalโ€™s 10-year milestone and is expected to hit the festival circuit this fall. Meanwhile, Moulin Rouge! closed its Broadway run on a high note, grossing $2.3 million in its final week.

The robotaxi race is accelerating. Waymo is expanding paid, driverless rides to Denver, San Diego, and Tampa, bringing its commercial footprint to 14 U.S. cities and more than 4,000 vehicles. Amazon-backed Zoox is also growing, planning tests in Houston and San Diego with human supervisors onboard. The moves come as Tesla prepares to unveil more details on its driverless Cybercab and Robotaxi service.
