The shortlists for the 2025 Ballon d’Or were unveiled on Thursday, with Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé, and Ousmane Dembélé among the nominees for the men’s award. Meanwhile, Aitana Bonmati, Marta, and Alexia Putellas lead the nominees for the Ballon d’Or Féminin. This year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony will be held on Sept. 22 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

On revealed a new running shoe that’s designed in partnership with brand ambassador Zendaya and her longtime stylist Law Roach. Called the Cloudzone Moon, the sneaker is a reiteration of the original Cloudzone silhouette. Also dropping as part of this project is an apparel line that includes a bodysuit, a track jacket, a bomber jacket, and shorts.

Its official debut is Big Dreams: The Little League World Series 2024, a 51-minute documentary celebrating what makes the Little League World Series so magical. The film premieres Aug. 12 on ESPN.
YouTube Supports Creatives Impacted by LA Fires with $3M Relief Fund
A week after fires displaced millions across Los Angeles and surrounding areas, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan announced the company would be donating $15 million to organizations providing immediate relief in partnership with Google. On Thursday, the video platform said that $3 million of that sum will go toward a fund that directly supports creative professionals in Los Angeles. For eligible creative professionals who lost their homes and/or were impacted by the devastation, YouTube will work with the Entertainment Community Fund to distribute funds.

Two Lil Wayne classics from his early days, Da Drought series and Dedication, is finally on a streaming platform. The projects can be played via Apple Music, although it’s unclear whether we’ll see them on any other services like Spotify or YouTube Music.
