Nike is teaming up with the Virgil Abloh Archives on an exhibition set to open during Paris Fashion Week this fall. A sequel to the Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture presentation from 2022, Virgil Abloh: The Codes will honor two decades of work through his 20,000-object archive, which includes prototypes, sketches, personal collections, and collaborations with artists, athletes, and more. The exhibit will run at the Grand Palais from Sept. 30 (Abloh’s birthday) through Oct. 10.

LeBron JamesUninterrupted and Naomi Osaka’s Hana Kuma have partnered with UltraBoom Media on a new series that will follow athletes and their adventures outside of professional sports. Launching weekly on YouTube, Off Day premieres with Osaka as its subject, exploring the sights and culinary scenes of Tokyo. Upcoming episodes will feature Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in Toronto, Alperen Şengün in Istanbul, and Aryna Sabalenka in New York City.

The WNBA is ready to bring that “BIG GLO” energy to its All-Star festivities this weekend, announcing Wednesday that Grammy-nominated GloRilla will headline the halftime performance of Saturday’s All-Star Game in Indianapolis. Additionally, global artist BIA will also perform her hit single “WE ON GO” for fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse prior to tip-off. Both acts will be aired live during the game’s broadcast on ABC.

Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell are set to star in a new action comedy film coming to Amazon MGM Studios. Titled Tough Guys, the film will focus on two henchmen on a quest to rebuild their lives after leaving the criminal underworld. While a director hasn’t been confirmed, Gosling and Jessie Henderson will produce via General Admission alongside Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions.

Reigning NFL MVP and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is now an equity partner in New Era Cap, the first brand ambassador to get an investment stake, officially taking on the new role of “Director of Billustration.” Fans can expect multiple drops over the next few weeks and into the upcoming NFL season, including a custom Bills hat inspired by the hand-drawn buffalo Allen sketched last year, which is already available for purchase.

Usher has officially been tapped as a brand ambassador for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, having been named the face of Ralph’s Club New York Eau de Parfum, the brand announced Wednesday. To celebrate the launch, Usher recorded an original song, which draws inspiration from the charm of Frank Sinatra’s iconic anthem, “Theme From New York, New York.” The new scent is now available for purchase.

This year’s MLS All-Star festivities are still a week away, but the league is already looking ahead to next season, revealing Wednesday that it’s tasked Charlotte FC with hosting duties for the 2026 festivities. It marks the league’s 30th All-Star Game and the first time Charlotte, which joined the MLS in 2022, has hosted. The date and opposing team will be announced at a later date. 

Morgan Wallen‘s I’m The Problem was the biggest album in the country through the first half of the year, per Luminate’s 2025 Midyear Report, while Kendrick Lamar and SZA claimed the biggest single with “Luther,” racking up more than 3.9 million units on over 530 million streams. Lamar’s GNX tops the mid-year top-selling vinyl sales in the U.S. with 226,000 units, with The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow ranks above the rest in regards to physical and digital albums with 495,000.

The rights to Fyre Festival, including the IP, were sold on eBay for $245,300, founder Billy McFarland, who streamed the auction, shared Wednesday. Although he didn’t reveal the winning bidder, NBC News writes that 175 bids were submitted by 42 bidders, with the final offer accepted at 12:44 p.m. EST on Tuesday.

Jannik Sinner’s four-set victory over Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s final on Sunday was the most-watched Wimbledon title match since Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic faced off in a five-set thriller in 2019. The thrilling matchup recorded an average of 2.9 million viewers on ESPN, a 31% increase over last year’s championship. Additionally, the women’s semis, which saw American Amanda Anisimova upset world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, averaged 897,000 viewers, the most since 2015.

A documentary centered around snarky fashion critic Joan Rivers is in production. Viewers are promised access to the late comedian’s personal archives, including home videos and previously unheard comedy recordings. The feature will also include interviews with Rivers’ family, such as her daughter Melissa, and other close confidantes. Premiering in 2026, Colette Camden will direct alongside Chris King
