Pharrell Williams Is a Knight, Receives France’s Highest Civilian Honor
Celebrating his invaluable influence on global culture and French luxury, Pharrell Williams is a recipient of Franceโs highest civilian award, a Knight of the Legion of Honor. Currently the menโs creative director at Louis Vuitton, the producer relocated to Paris upon accepting the role and since then, has worked on other LVMH-owned entities such as a limited-edition bottle for Moรซt & Chandon and jewelry for Tiffany. Pharrell joins 588 other recipients of this distinction.

DC Studios is celebrating a monumental opening for Superman, soaring to a $125 million debut to take the top spot at the weekend box office and become the third-highest opening of 2025 behind A Minecraft Movie ($162.8 million) and Lilo & Stitch ($146 million). It was also the biggest domestic opening for a comic book movie since Deadpool & Wolverine last summer. Worldwide, James Gunn’s Superman hauled in $220 million.

The next step in the ongoing partnership between the NFL and Sony was revealed on Monday: brand-new coaches’ headsets that are “custom-developed from scratch to meet the demands of NFL coaches.” Coaches will begin wearing them this upcoming season. Sony used data from its popular 1000X series to engineer the new headset, honing in on the noise-canceling technology. The headsets were also built to be durable in extreme weather conditions.

Ariel Atkins to Join Alysha Clark, NaLyssa Smith at Athletes Unlimited in 2026
After playing in Unrivaled last season, Chicago Sky guard Ariel Atkins is set to compete in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball league for the 2026 season, joining returning WNBA players Alysha Clark,ย NaLyssa Smith, Sydney Colson,ย Isabelle Harrison,ย Lexie Brown,ย and Kia Nurse. Other newcomers joining the league are Te-Hina Paopao,ย Jacy Sheldon, andย Kiah Stokes. The four-week competition will return to Nashville in February.
