Celebrating his invaluable influence on global culture and French luxury, Pharrell Williams is a recipient of Franceโ€™s highest civilian award, a Knight of the Legion of Honor. Currently the menโ€™s creative director at Louis Vuitton, the producer relocated to Paris upon accepting the role and since then, has worked on other LVMH-owned entities such as a limited-edition bottle for Moรซt & Chandon and jewelry for Tiffany. Pharrell joins 588 other recipients of this distinction.

DC Studios is celebrating a monumental opening for Superman, soaring to a $125 million debut to take the top spot at the weekend box office and become the third-highest opening of 2025 behind A Minecraft Movie ($162.8 million) and Lilo & Stitch ($146 million). It was also the biggest domestic opening for a comic book movie since Deadpool & Wolverine last summer. Worldwide, James Gunn’s Superman hauled in $220 million.

Lionel Messi and Stanley 1913 unveiled the second iteration of their ongoing partnership on Monday, which drops July 22 worldwide. Inspired by the Inter Miami captainโ€™s โ€œstart early, stay late” mantra, the Striker Blue collection includes a tumbler, bottle, jug, mug, and thermos in a sky blue colorway and gold lining. Products from the Messi x Stanley 1913 partnership are available for purchase online.

ABC‘s Shark Tank is returning for its 17th season this fall with a star-studded guest list, with Michael Strahan, Alexis Ohanian, Kendra Scott, and more set to join sharks Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky, and Kevin Oโ€™Leary. This will be the first season without Mark Cuban, who announced he was leaving the show last year after having been a mainstay shark since Season 3.

The next step in the ongoing partnership between the NFL and Sony was revealed on Monday: brand-new coaches’ headsets that are “custom-developed from scratch to meet the demands of NFL coaches.” Coaches will begin wearing them this upcoming season. Sony used data from its popular 1000X series to engineer the new headset, honing in on the noise-canceling technology. The headsets were also built to be durable in extreme weather conditions.

The first week of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 tournament has driven a huge tourism bump in Switzerland, with the number of travelers coming into the host country up 12%, according to CNBC. Additionally, spending during that time rose 27%, with visitors coming in from all around the world, such as Germany, England, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and the U.S.

The third boxing bout between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano that aired live on Netflix over the weekend drew an average minute audience of 6 million viewers, according to Netflix and VideoAmp. While a far cry from the 74 million viewers they averaged during their second fight last November, the mark still makes it one of the most-watched women’s sporting events of the year, just behind this year’s March Madness championship.

Zlatan Ibrahimoviฤ‡ was revealed as the cover athlete for this year’s FC 26 Ultimate Edition from EA Sports, recreating an image of himself from decades ago sitting in his bedroom reading a book on Ronaldo. The ex-Swedish international is regarded as one of the best strikers to play the sport, with stints at Malmรถ, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, AC Milan (twice), Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and LA Galaxy. The standard edition cover star for FC 26 has not yet been revealed.

After playing in Unrivaled last season, Chicago Sky guard Ariel Atkins is set to compete in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball league for the 2026 season, joining returning WNBA players Alysha Clark,ย NaLyssa Smith, Sydney Colson,ย Isabelle Harrison,ย Lexie Brown,ย and Kia Nurse. Other newcomers joining the league are Te-Hina Paopao,ย Jacy Sheldon, andย Kiah Stokes. The four-week competition will return to Nashville in February.
