It’s been a busy Wednesday for Angel Reese. Not only did the Chicago Sky star unveil her first signature basketball shoe with Reebok, the Angel Reese 1, but 2K Sports also revealed that Reese will grace the cover of the NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition. Reese now becomes the fifth active player in the W playing in her own signature kicks, joining Breanna Stewart (Puma), Sabrina Ionescu (Nike), A’ja Wilson (Nike), and Jacy Sheldon (HOLO Footwear).

Nvidia became the first publicly traded company to briefly surpass a $4 trillion market capitalization after shares rose as much as 2.5% on Wednesday. However, the chipmaker finished the day with a market cap of $3.97 trillion, closing up 1.79%. In Q1 2025 alone, the chipmaker reported that its revenue has skyrocketed roughly 70% to more than $44 billion. Nvidia added that it expects another $45 billion in sales for the current quarter.

Kid Cudi shared the official release date and cover art for his forthcoming new album, Free. Arriving Aug. 22, the cover was shot by photographer Norman Jean Roy and depicts the rapper leaping into clouds, which he says “really expressed freedom.” The project’s second single, “Grave,” drops this Friday along with the music video after the artist unveiled the first track from the project, “Neverland,” in May.

Rosalía is the latest celeb to join New Balance, with the brand introducing the Grammy Award winner in a five-part campaign currently playing out on Instagram. Rosalía also debuts the brand’s newest lifestyle silhouette, the New Balance 204L, in the imagery, which unfolds like chapters in a film. Other New Balance celebrity ambassadors include Jack Harlow, Storm Reid, Aminé, and Action Bronson.

Christian Horner is out as CEO and team principal of Red Bull Racing, the team confirmed Wednesday. Under Horner’s management, the team secured 124 victories, 107 pole positions, 287 podium finishes, eight drivers’ world championships, and six constructors’ titles. Former Racing Bulls team principal Laurent Mekies will immediately replace Horner as chief exec, with racing director Alan Permane taking over as boss at the sister team.

Fanatics and Fanatics Collectibles announced an exclusive partnership with college basketball star AJ Dybantsa on Wednesday, calling it one of their “most significant NIL deals ever.” The multi-year deal, which Sportico reports is in the eight-figure range, begins immediately and stretches beyond Dybantsa’s collegiate career at BYU. The deal focuses on trading cards and memorabilia, including autographs, game-used jerseys, and inscriptions.

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has announced a new exhibition celebrating the limitless creativity of the House of Schiaparelli. More than 200 artifacts will be on display at “Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art,” chronicling its early days under founder Elsa Schiaparelli in the 1920s, all the way up to the present day under the current ownership of Diego Della Valle and Daniel Roseberry. The exhibition will run at the Sainsbury Gallery from March 21 through Nov. 1, 2026.

The Big East Conference and ESPN have inked a six-year digital media rights agreement, which will result in a minimum of 75 women’s basketball games and 200 Olympic sports events streaming on ESPN+ annually, starting this fall. The agreement will also include a minimum of 25 non-conference games annually for Big East men’s basketball. ESPN previously held Big East rights from 1980 to 2013.

With production officially underway for The Devil Wears Prada sequel, Variety exclusively revealed Wednesday that Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Simone Ashley, and Pauline Chalamet have joined the cast. They’ll act alongside stars of the original 2006 picture, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. The confirmed release date is May 1, 2026.

Revered artist KAWS is set to open an exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden in May 2027. The venue’s 250-acre space will showcase a range of large-scale sculptures and boundary-defining showstoppers. The presentation will run through Oct. 24, 2027.
