Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover, is going on his first tour in five years. The rapper announced the news via social media on Monday, as well as revealed the surprise release of his newest album, ATAVISTA, which is actually “the finished version” of an album he dropped in 2020, 3.15.20. The tour begins at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on Aug. 11. From there, he will head to Kansas City, Washington, DC, Portland, and other major North American cities before heading overseas to France, Denmark, and the UK. An Australian leg closes the run of shows on Feb. 11.

NBCUniversal announced Monday that it has acquired another NFL game to add to its 2024 slate. Already boasting three primetime contests to kick off the season in Week 1, this added game will take place on the afternoon of Dec. 21, the same day in which half of the first round of the College Football Playoff is set to take place. The game will be coupled with a Sunday Night Football broadcast the next day, marking the first time since 1997 that NBC will air NFL games on both Saturday and Sunday in Week 16. Also revealed Monday was that the Thursday night matchup to kick off the season will be a rematch of the AFC Championship last year between the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens.

OpenAI announced on Monday its latest artificial intelligence language software they say will make ChatGPT smarter and easier to use. Called GPT-4o, this model is an update from the company’s previous GPT-4 model, which debuted over a year ago. OpenAI technology chief Mira Murati said in a live demo from its San Francisco headquarters that the new model is “much faster,” with improved text, video, and audio capabilities and eventual plans to allow users to video chat with ChatGPT. In the blog post, OpenAI also clarified that GPT-4o’s capabilities “will be rolled out in the coming weeks,” but its text and image capabilities will start to roll out today in ChatGPT.

Keith Gill, the man better known as “Roaring Kitty” who was at the center of the 2021 meme stock craze, posted online for the first time in three years, sending the prices of GameStop, Reddit, and AMC shares sharply up on Monday. According to CNBC, GameStop increased 74.4% after soaring as much as 110%, while AMC ended Monday’s session up an impressive 78.4% after doubling in price at one point. Finally, Reddit rose roughly 9%. Gill’s post that led to these sharp rises has garnered over 100,000 likes since going live.

Visa is taking over the Cour Carrée of the Louvre Museum in Paris for a fun event called “Visa Live at le Louvre.” The digital payment corporation has tapped Post Malone to headline the festivities, which will also feature a diverse group of musicians from across the globe.
