Aaron Judge has joined baseball card royalty. His 2013 Bowman Chrome Draft Superfractor Autograph (1/1) sold for $5.2 million in a private deal brokered by Fanatics Collect, setting the record for the most ever paid for a modern baseball card. The sale tops the $3.936 million paid for Mike Troutโs 2009 Bowman Chrome Superfractor in 2020 and ties for the seventh-highest sports card sale ever. Judge now joins Honus Wagner, Babe Ruth, and Mickey Mantle as the only baseball players with a card topping $5 million.
TikTok, iHeartMedia Team Up to Launch TikTok Radio
iHeartMedia and TikTok are launching TikTok Radio, a new station blending hit music with the creators, trends, and viral moments shaping the platform. Debuting March 13 at SXSW, the station will stream on the iHeartRadio app and broadcast across 28 U.S. markets. Programming will feature trending songs, creator commentary, and segments like Behind-the-Charts, New Music Fridays, and more.
Disney+ to Debut TikTok-Style Vertical Video Feed This Week
Disney+ is launching its new short-form vertical video feed called Verts, bringing swipeable clips from its film and TV library to mobile users. Barack and Michelle Obamaโs media company, Higher Ground, is co-producing the upcoming Broadway revival of Proof, starring Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle, both making their Broadway debuts.
