Jerseys worn by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in the first games of their NBA careers are being auctioned off by Sotheby’s and are expected to fetch at least $20 million combined. The Thursday announcement reveals the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers jerseys are from the 1984-85 and 1996-97 seasons, respectively, and are expected to hit public exhibition at Sotheby’s New York galleries starting March 21.

Just one week after the show premiered on Netflix, Running Point has already been renewed for Season 2, the streaming service confirmed Thursday. In the video reveal, series lead Kate Hudson said: “A good basketball team owner knows when to listen to the fans. So we hear you, and so did Netflix. Running Point is officially coming back for Season 2!”

Jamie Foxx and Fox Entertainment Studios have agreed to a multi-year first-look deal in which the Oscar-winning actor will develop and produce scripted and unscripted programming for Fox’s studio division. This adds to the work Foxx has already done with the media company, which includes serving as host and executive producer of Beat Shazam and being an executive producer of Alert: Missing Persons Unit, which premieres its third season on March 25.

The second live boxing event on Netflix is set for July 11, with Amanda Serrano facing Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden in the main event on an all-women’s card. The undercard will be announced at a later date. This marks the third bout between the two, and this time, it will be for the undisputed junior welterweight title. Taylor has won the first two duels via narrow decisions. The event is promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

With casting underway for Greta Gerwig’s Narnia movie premiering on Netflix, Deadline exclusively revealed Thursday that Charli XCX is the main target to potentially play Jadis, The White Witch. Nothing has been confirmed, but talks have reportedly been ongoing for some time. Netflix announced in 2018 plans to develop new series and film projects based on The Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S. Lewis and tapped Gerwig to adapt and direct in 2020.

Hasbro Entertainment is developing a reality competition based on the popular board game Monopoly. Contestants will use unconventional tactics to get rich, such as reason, alliance formation, and possible acts of betrayal, while skirting the line between capitalism and class warfare. Hasbro is also producing a separate feature-length film based on the game alongside Lionsgate and Margot Robbie‘s LuckyChap.

EA Sports revealed the first part of the Madden NFL 25 Team of the Year roster Thursday, with big names such as Lamar Jackson, Justin Jefferson, and Creed Humphrey leading the way on offense. Chris Jones, Bobby Wagner, and Khalil Mack headlined the defensive side of the ball, while KaVontae Turpin and Chop Robinson were honored as the specialists. The rest of the roster will be unveiled on March 13.

Olivia Rodrigo and British band The 1975 will headline the Glastonbury Festival this summer, joining rock icon Neil Young, who was previously confirmed as Saturday’s headliner. Other major artists performing during the five-day affair include Busta Rhymes, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Jorja Smith, Busta Rhymes, and Rod Stewart playing the Sunday afternoon “legend slot.”

In addition to going on a worldwide tour this summer, Kendrick Lamar is also set to release a new flick. Lamar is working alongside pgLang cofounder Dave Free and South Park co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone on the movie set to release in theaters on July 11 and will feature Chloe East and Celeste Octavia. According to HotNewHipHop, Paramount+ has confirmed the title of the film will be Whitney Springs.

NBC has tapped Tom Llamas to replace Lester Holt on the NBC Nightly News desk after the veteran anchor announced his departure from the show following a 10-year run at the end of February. Llamas began his career at NBC 25 years ago as an overnight production assistant and most recently has served as the anchor of NBC News NOW’s weeknight stream. He will maintain that role in addition to this new position.
