A$AP Rocky will be honored with the Vanguard Award for Fashion at the 57th NAACP Image Awards on Feb. 28 in Pasadena, recognizing his influence as a cultural trailblazer. The Harlem native is also nominated for three Image Awards for his role in Spike Leeโs film Highest 2 Lowest. Beyond music and acting, Rocky has made major fashion inroads, becoming the first Black male face of Dior Homme and, last fall, the newest ambassador for Chanel. He also runs his creative agency AWGE and serves as creative director for Ray-Ban and Puma.

Apple reported a first-quarter revenue of $143.8 billion on Thursday, up 16% year over year. The surge was fueled by strong demand for the iPhone 17, which saw sales jump 23% to $85.27 billion, while Appleโs services division โ which includes sales from the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Pay, iCloud, AppleCare, and advertising โ surpassed $30 billion in revenue for the first time. Meanwhile, fellow tech giant Microsoft saw its market cap drop by $357 billion following an underwhelming earnings report.

Super Bowl commercial prices have climbed as high as $10 million ahead of the Feb. 8 broadcast on NBC, per NBCUniversalโs Mark Marshall, highlighting the NFLโs strong appeal to advertisers. A 30-second ad is averaging $8 million, matching last yearโs record, with more advertisers coming from the technology, pharmaceutical, and wellness sectors. Nearly 40% of this yearโs sponsors are new. Last yearโs Super Bowl was the most-watched TV event in U.S. history, drawing 128 million viewers across Fox, Tubi, and other platforms.
‘Inceptionโ, ‘The Karate Kid’, & More Added to National Film Registry
The Library of Congress announced 25 new additions to its National Film Registry, selected forย cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance. The newest addition to the registry is The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) by Wes Anderson, while other newly inducted works include Christopher Nolan‘s Inception, Glory, The Karate Kid, The Incredibles, Clueless, and classic musicals White Christmas and High Society. The list also features Philadelphia starring Tom Hanks, The Truman Show, Before Sunrise, Frida, and The Thing, which received the most public nomination votes. These additions bring the registryโs total to 925 titles.
‘White Lotus’ Cast Is Coming Together Ahead of Season 4 Production
The fourth season of HBO‘s The White Lotus is set to kick off production in France this year, and the cast is taking shape. Helena Bonham Carter, Marissa Long, and Chris Messina have been tapped to join the Emmy-winning series from Mike White, the show’s creator, director, writer, and executive producer. Previously reported Season 4 cast members include Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Alexander Ludwig, and AJ Michalka.
Peacock Reports $552M Q4 Loss, But Subscribers Climb to 44M
Peacock, the streaming arm of Comcastโs entertainment unit NBCUniversal, reported a Q4 loss of $552 million, up from $372 million a year earlier, which Comcast attributed partly to the launch of NBA coverage and an exclusive NFL game. Despite the loss, Peacockโs revenue rose to $1.6 billion, and paid subscribers grew to 44 million, up from 36 million a year ago. Overall, Comcast posted $32.3 billion in revenue, up 1.2% year over year, while net income fell 55% to $2.16 billion. Growth at NBCUniversal and media revenue helped offset a decline in Universal film studio revenue tied to weaker licensing and theatrical performance.
Amazon Prime Video Sets March Premiere for ‘Jury Duty’ Season 2
Amazon Prime Video confirmed that Season 2 of Jury Duty, officially titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, will premiere on March 20 with its first three episodes. Two additional episodes will drop on March 27, followed by a three-episode finale on April 3. Katt Williams Returns to Netflix with New Stand-Up Special
Katt Williams is returning to Netflix with his fourth stand-up special for the streamer, The Last Report, premiering Feb. 10. The hour features Williamsโ sharp takes on conspiracies, celebrities, and current culture, following previous specials Woke Foke, World War III, and Great America. Williams will also appear at Netflix Is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles from May 4-10, performing at the Intuit Dome. The festival will include over 350 events with major names like Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, John Mulaney, Seth Rogen, Lizzo, Nate Bargatze, and a Flight of the Conchords reunion.
Fox to Broadcast Record World Cup Matches
Fox Sports announced Thursday that it will air 70 of the 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup on the main Fox channel, a record, with the remaining 34 on FS1. Another record 40 games — over one-third of the tournament — will air during primetime hours. Every match will also be available to stream live or on-demand via the Fox One and Fox Sports apps. All of the USMNTโs group stage matches will air on Fox, starting with its matchup against Paraguay on June 12.
