One of Super Bowl weekend’s hottest parties just announced its first round of performers. Fanatics confirmed that its annual bash will be co-headlined by Travis Scott and Post Malone. Don Toliver is also confirmed to take the stage, and the company promises “many more surprise artists.” This year’s invite-only soiree will take place on Feb. 8 at The Sugar Mill in New Orleans.
Glenn Martens Named Maison Margiela’s New Creative Director
The luxe fashion creative carousel continues. Maison Margiela announced that Glenn Martens is the brand’s new Creative Director, succeeding John Galliano, who left the French label in December. In a quote obtained by WWD, Margiela said Martens’ arrival signals “the next chapter of the house, building on its unique codes and brand values.” Born in Belgium, Martens was named creative director of Diesel in 2020. Per WWD, he will remain in that role, playing double duty as Creative Director of two powerhouse lines, both controlled by parent firm OTB Group.
Prime Video, Lionsgate Sign Multi-Year Theatrical Movie Deal
Prime Video and Lionsgate have agreed to a multi-year deal wherein the former will exclusively stream Lionsgate’s 2026 slate of films after they premiere on Starz. According to Deadline, the roster includes titles like Now You See Me 3 and The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. In addition to new projects, subscribers can expect Prime Video to license select “premium” titles from Lionsgate’s broader catalog, such as John Wick, Twilight, Divergent, Weeds, and Nurse Jackie, beginning next year.
Fox Shatters $8M Ad Record for Super Bowl Spots
Fox has reached a major Super Bowl win, and the game is still over a week away. According to Sportico, the network has broken the $8 million mark for a 30-second Super Bowl ad, selling at least 10 spots at that threshold, per sources affiliated with negotiations. During a quarterly earnings call last November, chief executive Lachlan Murdoch confirmed Super Bowl inventory sold out at record pricing, which was reported at the time as $7 million. Fox’s last Super Bowl telecast in 2023 brought in about $600 million in advertising revenue for the network.
Reggie Miller Heading to NBC’s NBA Coverage
Front Office Sports first reported that Reggie Miller is the latest name to join NBC’s coverage of the NBA as its lead play-by-play commentator. The Hall of Famer will join Mike Tirico and Noah Eagle at the desk when the league returns to the network in the fall. A five-time All-Star during his 18 years with the Indiana Pacers, Miller has worked as an NBA analyst for TNT since 2005.
Kate Martin and Lexie Hull Join Athleta
Athleta is adding to its star list of brand ambassadors with the signing of WNBA standouts Kate Martin and Lexie Hull, the sportswear company announced Wednesday. The duo will participate in its Power of She Collective, a campaign Athleta founded in 2023 to “deepen its relationship with female athletes at every stage of their careers and further build on its mission of inspiring women and girls through movement.” As part of this collab, Hull and Martin will influence product innovations, access personal and professional mentorship opportunities, and take part in the brand’s Power of She impact initiatives. They join Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky as part of the brand’s all-star ambassadors.
MLS, Apple Make Season Pass Available Through Xfinity, DirecTV
Apple announced major changes arriving ahead of the historic 30th season of MLS to broadcast on the platform, including a new production studio and a featured Sunday night soccer match each week. All Sunday Night Soccer games will be available to stream free for Apple TV+ subscribers. Finally, DirecTV and Apple agreed to a deal that will allow the TV provider to offer the MLS Season Pass to residential satellite and streaming users for the first time. The MLS season kicks off on Feb. 22.

Lola Young is having a great start to 2025. After her breakout single “Messy” went viral on TikTok (thanks, Sofia Richie Grange), the singer made her late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week. Since that Jan. 21 appearance, the song has now reached a new No. 25 ranking on the Billboard 100 this week. “Messy” has also seen streaming success, with 8.8 million official plays through the first four days of this tracking week. This marks a 30% jump from this same time last week, per Luminate.
