FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Odds, Rosters & Schedule

A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and Team USA roll into Australia as big favorites to win the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.

The WNBA Finals finished only recently, but league MVP and newly-minted champ A’ja Wilson won’t be Four Loko-ing indefinitely with her Las Vegas Aces — there’s more work to be done.

On Sept. 21, Team USA embarks on its latest run at global gold at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Australia. The Americans are assigned to Group A, and get their campaign started in primetime against Belgium. Naturally, they’re huge favorites to take home top honors.

Team USA’s FIBA World Cup schedule for the tournament’s group stage is as follows:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 21 vs. Belgium (9:30 p.m. ET, ESPN+)
  • Thursday, Sept. 22 vs. Puerto Rico (8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN+)
  • Saturday, Sept. 24 vs. China (12:30 a.m. ET, ESPN2)
  • Sunday, Sept. 26 vs. South Korea (12 a.m. ET, ESPN2)
  • Tuesday, Sept. 27 vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina (12 a.m. ET, ESPNU)
