Doechii to Hit the Road for ‘Live From the Swamp’ Tour in the Fall
Following a ’90s hip-hop, rap, and R&B set during this weekend’s Lollapalooza set, Doechii announced she’s hitting the road this fall on her first headlining tour. Live From the Swamp kicks off in Chicago on Oct. 14 and runs across North America, stopping in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Houston before concluding in Seattle on Nov. 10. Artist presale begins this Friday at 10 a.m. local time and general on-sale is set for Aug. 11.
Bad Bunny, Adidas Showcase Sneakers in Archive Exhibit
Bad Bunny and Adidas Originals are hosting a new archive exhibit in Puerto Rico this month. De Puerto Rico Para El Mundo: La Historia De Una Collab, which translates to “From Puerto Rico to the World: The Story of a Collab, will showcase 148 Adidas sneakers from its partnership with the global hitmaker, in addition to unseen samples and unreleased silhouettes. The presentation opens on Wednesday at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in San Juan and runs until Aug. 17.
Beyoncé Drops Final Chapter of Levi’s Campaign, Potentially Hints at Next Album
Beyoncé unveiled the fourth and final chapter of her Levi’s campaign, titled “The Denim Cowboy,” on Monday. The latest ad opens with her on horseback and showcases bits from her past collections with the denim brand, but it ends with Queen Bey hopping on the back of a motorcycle, perhaps teasing that the highly anticipated Act III could be a rock album. Levi’s concluded the collaboration with a new denim drop, available right now on Beyonce.com and globally on Thursday through Levi’s.
Paramount’s Streaming CEO Steps Down Ahead of Skydance Merger Close
Following its $8 billion merger with Skydance, Paramount streaming president and CEO Tom Ryan confirmed his exit from the media giant. The veteran exec will continue to support the company in an advisory role to incoming direct-to-consumer chair Cindy Holland and the streaming leadership team to ensure a smooth transition. The FCC approved the merger on July 24, and it will formally close on Aug. 7.
Mo Abudu Expands Reach With New Streaming Platform
Mo Abudu is expanding her media empire with the launch of EbonyLife on Plus, a membership-based streaming platform that will showcase pan-African series, movies, talk shows, and lifestyle content. The London-born exec will also drop a masterclass every month for subscribers. The soft launch begins in September for $10 annually in Nigeria and $30 internationally.

Lady Gaga to Reportedly Debut New Song in Netflix’s Wednesday
Lady Gaga is releasing a new song, and it will be featured in Season 2 of Wednesday on Netflix. Called “Dead Dance,” Variety reports that the single and accompanying music video are expected to drop next month, coinciding with Gaga‘s show debut as Rosaline Rotwood, a “legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday (Jenna Ortega).” Part 1 of the second season drops this Wednesday, Aug. 6, while Part 2 will premiere on Sept. 3.
‘New York Post’ Heads West with LA-Based ‘California Post’, Set for 2026 Debut
The New York Post is heading west, confirming Monday plans to launch The California Post in Los Angeles in early 2026. Covering news, entertainment, culture, politics, and sports, a daily print edition and dedicated digital platform will serve readers across the state, in addition to national and international coverage from the New York editorial team. Nick Papps, a longtime editor at News Corp’s Australian operation, will serve as editor-in-chief of The California Post, reporting to Keith Poole, who will oversee operations in LA in addition to his role as the New York Post EIC.
Katt Williams Tapped as PGA Tour On-Course Correspondent
Funnyman Katt Williams is taking on a new role: on-course correspondent for the PGA Tour, with his first tourney on the job being the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis this week. In this role, Williams will join ESPN analyst Michael Collins to add color and commentary throughout the tournament. PGA Tour Live airs on ESPN+, while the FedEx St. Jude Championship will be live-streamed on Peacock.
‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Return to Theaters
In celebration of the film’s 50th anniversary, Star Wars: A New Hope is returning to theaters. Originally released May 25, 1977, the original Star Wars film will be back on the big screen on April 30, 2027. Additionally, Lucasfilm plans to unveil year-long activations to commemorate the milestone.
