Washington Mystics star Essence Carson joins teammate Tina Charles to talk about her basketball career, from Rutgers University (where she was elected to their Hall of Fame this week) to being drafted to the NY Liberty and winning a championship with the LA Sparks. Essence discusses how she’s built a simultaneous career as a musician and as a product manager at Priority Records, learning how to record and produce music, and her aspirations to win a Grammy and eventually run a label.
