Two of the WNBA‘s greats – All-Star and 3-time Olympic gold medalist Marissa Coleman and WNBA champion and 2x defensive player of the year Alana Beard – join Tina Charles to talk about their journeys on and off the court, including Alana’s mentorship of Marissa through the years. They discuss learning about the world of franchising, including co-ownership of a Mellow Mushroom franchise in Roanoke together, as well as their experiences at Harvard Business School. Alana addresses the lack of diversity in the venture capital world and her goal of changing that, and both athletes discuss their futures after basketball.
