Ralph Lauren Introduces US Ryder Cup Collection

The collection, designed for the best golfers in the world to excel on and off the course, arrives ahead of the iconic event’s return on Sept. 24.

At long last, the Ryder Cup is set to return on Sept. 24. And when the United States team descends onSheboygan, Wisconsin’s Whistling Straits, they’ll be decked out in uniforms from official outfitter Ralph Lauren as part of their all-new golf collection.

Originally scheduled for Sept. 2020, the biennial Ryder Cup was pushed back a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ralph Lauren is holding nothing back this year as the US looks to dethrone Europe, which took the crown in 2018.

With just a few weeks to go before the event, Ralph Lauren unveiled its full Ryder Cup collection, which will have players, caddies, and partners alike looking sharp from the moment they arrive at Whistling Straits for the Opening Ceremony and welcome dinner all the way to the final hole on Sept. 26.

This continues Ralph Lauren’s roll of major athletic apparel launches, coming just a week after it released its collection for the US Open tennis tournament.

US team co-captain and Ralph Lauren golf ambassador Davis Love III showed off some of what the brand has to offer this year:

Ralph Lauren has made it a priority to blend fashion, performance, and national pride in this year’s offering. Each Polo was made with materials that combine moisture-wicking properties with enhanced airflow, making them perfect for a day on the course, notes the company’s official press release.

The shirts are designed to accommodate any swing radius, while Ralph Lauren says the pants are lightweight and flexible. Apparel will also include “United We Stand” and “USA20” branding throughout the collection.

One particular look to watch for will come on Sunday at the Ryder Cup, when participants will don sweaters from the Polo Ralph Lauren Made to Order program, personalized with player names on the back.

And don’t worry — you don’t have to be on the Ryder Cup team to enjoy the collection. Ralph Lauren will have a 17,900-square-foot activation on-site for fans to personalize their own sweaters, similar to what the players wear.

The Ryder Cup collection will also be available for purchase on ralphlauren.com and shop.pga.com.
