On this episode of “The Boardroom: Out of Office”, Rich Kleiman talks to his long-time friend, Jesse Itzler, a successful entrepreneur, author, ultra marathon runner, and rapper.
Early in his career, Itzler wrote jingles for sports franchises, including the New York Knicks hype song “Go, New York, Go.” Now, he’s a co-owner of the Atlanta Hawks with his wife, Sara Blakely (billionaire founder of apparel company Spanx.) The serial entrepreneur has also sold companies like Marquis Jets and Zico Water to the likes of Warren Buffet and Coca-Cola. Itzler shares his insights about the qualities required to excel as an entrepreneur, how he maintains work-life balance, and what compels him to keep building new businesses and experiences even after becoming a huge success.
