The new LeBron 19 colorway will arrive alongside the new Magic Fruity Pebbles, in time for National Cereal Day.
During All-Star Weekend, LeBron James said that he will go wherever he needs to in order to end his playing career with his 17-year-old son Bronny. Since then, there’s been speculation aplenty.
But whether King James stays in L.A. or latches onto his fourth team, his loyalty to Fruity PEBBLES is unwavering.
LeBron and Nike are again partnering with PEBBLES for March’s National Cereal Day, the two announced Thursday in a press release,.
The celebration is headlined by the release of the Nike LeBron James 19 Low Magic Fruity PEBBLES, “a colorful pair of sneaks that features actual photography of the Magic PEBBLES’ red and yellow cereal flakes.”
“To have an original pair of my Nike sneakers pay tribute to my favorite cereal growing up is surreal,” LeBron said in a statement. “Putting them on and seeing the colorway come to life is even better.”
This isn’t the first time James has fulfilled that very specific childhood dream.
The perennial All-Star has incorporated signature PEBBLES colorways, beginning with the Nike LeBron 4 PE in 2006.
Come 2018, the rainbow Nike LeBron 15s could be spotted on the basketball court and baseball diamond alike.
The design of the new “Magic Fruity PEBBLES” 19 ups the ante, as each pair features Photochromic DCS Technology, per the release:
“The shoe’s airbag uses the power of the sun’s UV light to transition a completely clear Air unit to a purple colorway. This first-time collaboration between Fruity PEBBLES x LeBron means fans everywhere can unlock two colorways, both on and off the court.”

The duplicitous colorway mirrors the red and yellow Magic Fruity PEBBLES flakes that turn the milk purple. The cereal will hit shelves at select stores across the U.S. on March 7.
The 27-31 Lakers tip off the second half of their 2021-22 campaign against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night, but it’s unclear when his new shoe will make its on-court debut.
