Naomi Osaka: It’s a Matter of Time

The tennis superstar teamed up with TAG Heuer on the limited edition Aquaracer, which reflects her love for tennis and nature.

As we enter the depths of winter, Naomi Osaka is here to bring the ice.

The tennis superstar and global icon is continuing her partnership with Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer by unveiling a limited edition Aquaracer Professional 300 watch, which she helped design. Two different shades of green adorn the dial and strap, representing her love for tennis and nature. The five-minute markers feature a tone reminiscent a tennis ball, and the hour markers are studded with diamonds. The back of the watch’s case and the packaging feature Osaka’s teddy bear logo.

“I am excited to continue my work with TAG Heuer not only because their timepieces are so renowned and classic, but also because it is an honor to be able to create a timepiece with such an iconic brand with a rich history in watchmaking,” the 24-year-old said.

There were only 250 of the Naomi Osaka Limited Edition timepieces made, available exclusively in her home of the United States, her native Japan, and Australia, where she’ll compete in next week’s Australian Open. The four-time Grand Slam champion was recently declared the highest-paid female athlete, according to Forbes, taking in $57.3 million in prizes and endorsements in 2021.
