NIGO’s brand and Philly’s own Baby Pluto have cooked up a new capsule featuring jackets, t-shirts, and more. UZI MADE drops Oct. 15.
On Thursday, Kenzo creative director and DJ/fashion entrepreneur NIGO’s HUMAN MADE brand announced that a new collaborative apparel collection with rap superstar Lil Uzi Vert will drop on Saturday, Oct. 15.
The “UZI MADE COLLECTION” will feature the 27-year-old Philadelphia rapper’s beloved pink hue on a set of essential items including:
- A denim jacket and pants set in indigo
- A reversible Yosuka souvenir jacket in pink
- A zip-up hoodie with matching sweatpants in pink/olive drab.
- Two graphic t-shirts — one in white and one in pink — with a “bridge between human and inhuman” message that also appears on the denim jacket
- A cushion in white with the Philadelphia native’s spin on HUMAN MADE’s Storm Cowboy logo complete the collection, with UZI MADE adorning each item.
The first release from this collaboration dropped last year, and teaser videos in recent weeks included Lil Uzi Vert orbiting in outer space in a transparent coffin before falling into the arms of a miniature-size NIGO.
In addition to having a pink 10-carat diamond implanted into their forehead last year (which had to be removed months later for safety reasons), Uzi’s most recent music release is the July EP entitled “RED & WHITE,” which, as we learned in preschool, becomes pink when mixed together. Right on cue, he and NIGO are expected to release an upcoming studio album together called Pink Tape in the coming months.
